Want a perfect get away? This is a beautiful and affordable camp for you and your family or friends. Otter lake access within short walking distance. Fully furnished includes two bedrooms, one bath, a full bar, equipped kitchen, pellet burning fire stove, clothes washer and dryer, a gas grill for bbqs and a large outdoor fire pit for camp fires. 15 minute drive to Old Forge where you can visit the enchanted forest water safari, go carts, pied piper arcade, shops and restaurants.

There is plenty of open space in the home to accommodate more guests.

Wonderful stay

We stayed at the house for 4 nights and 5 days. The house was more than we expected! Spacious, plenty of of room for my husband, 2 daughters, son in law and grandson. Kitchen was well equipped. This is not a small little cottage, this is a very nice spacious well stocked year round home. A nice short walk to Otter Lake. Quick drive to Old Forge. We were slightly unnerved about not getting any particulars about the rental until a few days before our arrival. Although, this is our first time using VRBO and my daughter tells me this is common. Secondly, we were slightly disappointed with the lawn not being cared for before we arrived. Was a bit of an inconvenience to use the fire pit. But still greatly enjoyed our fires making smores with our grandson. 10 out of 10 would recommend this home and would happily stay again next year!!

2nd not as good as the first.

1st time there 2 years ago i gave 5 out of 5...this time just a 3. This time drive way needed mowing weeds and grass ...dishes in dish washer. Cloths in dryer..spider on ceiling. 2 ants craweled on me on couch. Water bottle under a bed. No tv service they stream everything. Dirty dog bowl on floor filled with water. ....best inprovement they added baby gate on top of stairs. ...called owner and was told they would call person caring for the property.?i have no idea of results......don't know if ill be back again depends on what it looks like in 2 years.

Very nice rental

In short driving distance to many great places. Inside is very nice with a small backyard for fires. My family very much enjoyed our time there.

nice place to relax and unwind

My wife and I just wanted to get away someplace relaxing and this was great. House was clean and the bar with darts, foosball table and nice flatscreen cable tv was fun. The pictures don't show a nice back deck on the house. The stairs going to the main floor are steep, so not for anyone that can't handle that and no can for garbage removal, so we had that in the car for the drive home, but we had a great stay.

Great location to get to Old Forge

We had a nice stay. Our family of 4 was able to fit comfortably to sleep and play. My main criticism would be the beds were not very comfortable and I would recommend you bring extra pillows. Charles is great with responding to questions in a timely manner. We had a great trip

Family Vacation

This property was exactly how it is shown in VRBO. I was very impressed with how updated the kitchen (cabinets) and floors were throughout the place. I had text Charles a few times and he did return with a response to me. If you have someone that can't climb stairs, be careful bc there are a flight of stairs going to the main area to the 2 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom (only one) and living area. Overall, I would recommend this nice vacation home.

Only 25 minutes from Boonville and 10 minutes from Old Forge. Rented for my daughters family. House was immaculate, he also worked directly with my daughter for a smooth check in. Very nice for family of four. Would rent for them again in a heartbeat!!

House was in a great location close to Old Forge.

The owner was great about responding to questions and concerns. The house was very spacious, beds were comfortable. The cleaning crew had over looked a few area but the owner apologized said she had never had a complaint before and was going to contact cleaning crew make sure it wouldn’t happen again. I was satisfied with her response.

Great Cabin for a Single Family

The cabin was clean and nicely equipped. It was a short drive to Old Forge which provided great shopping, entertainment, and dining. The one thing I'd mention to future renters would be to make sure to bring your own towels as they weren't provided.

A nice getaway place

Overall experience was a good one. We enjoyed our stay here. The dart machine was a bonus plus as we played it every night. One thing that we were slightly creeped out by is the taxidermy deer heads display but that didn’t infringe on our stay. Also walking distance to Otter Place which is breathtaking especially during sunset. This place is within 15 -20 minutes driving distance to stores and restaurants in Old Forge and Booneville. Definitely a comfortable place to stay at and would come back.

Nice Getaway!

We rented this house for a family vacation with 4 adults and 2 children (a 2 year old and a 10 month old). The house was beautiful and the layout was perfect for our family. The availability of the amenities made our vacation that much more relaxing and comfortable. It was very much our home away from home for the week. The backyard and fire pit made for some great family memories, while the downstairs living space and sun porch allowed for extra elbow-room when needed. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for an Adirondack vacation not too far from Old Forge.
