"Maintenance & Booking Policy Note:
We are committed to providing efficient maintenance services. However, please be aware that we can only attend to maintenance issues during regular work hours. Callouts cannot be confirmed on weekends (Fridays 4 pm - Monday 10 am) and public holidays, as well as outside work hours (after 4:00 pm - before 9 am, Monday-Friday). We understand the importance of prompt repairs and will respond to all requests within 24 hours, arranging tradespeople during work hours.
Our deposit policy requires a 50% payment at the time of booking, and credit card transactions will have a non-refundable fee of 3.5%.
The security bond will only be held through pre-authorization 1-2 days before arrival. Depending on the property's size, this pre-authorization hold will range from $500 to $2,000 and is required 1 day prior to arrival. Selected properties may request guests' IDs for verification.
To avoid credit card fees, guests can opt for bank transfers for payment. Please inform the host in advance if you will use this payment method."

I loved having Claire and her family because they were able to treat the place with respect, have a great time, and enjoy the area. They were awesome with renting the space and I hope I get to host them again.
We are very pleased with our stay at the Bluestone Cottage. It was tastefully decorated, very clean and cosy. We loved the private garden views from the master bedroom and dining at the rear garden surrounded by beautiful roses and lavender was most divine. Good heating and ventilation of the property made our stay very pleasant.
We were well looked after, very comfortable place in a very convenient location. Only small problem we had was the housekeeping rule of no seafood allowed. As we love eating seafood, this rule was a little bit inconvenient since we had dine out instead. Such a shame when you're in beautiful Tasmania.

Very comfortable. Just what I needed to relax, recover from a recent surgery while my husband did the Cradle Mountain trek. I could walk the entire town from the location. Stores and restaurants were convenient. The home was more than I expected with its garden and patio.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay in charming “Bluestone Cottage” & we loved the marriage of old & new features together. It had everything we needed plus more! The beds were comfy, the kitchen had all that we needed & we enjoyed the heated bathroom floor. We also enjoyed watching Netflix at night. We had to take the car out when we needed something, as it wasn’t close enough to walk. Car parking on the street was a little tricky sometimes.

House rules like leaving rubbish in the property results of 150$
deduction from bond are a little bit over the top!

In regards to our booking procedures, we understand and appreciate that there may be a few more steps when booking with us. We like to ensure we're looking after our properties and owners, and be confident that our guests will take care when staying.
We do have additional costs for leaving excess rubbish in the property. This is to cover the costs we are charged for removing it. We're lucky that we've not had to charge any guests for this.

Bluestone Cottage is a lovely property in a great location and highly recommended.Unfortunately the managing agent had advertised the property having two bathrooms when there was only one.When we brought this to the agents attention they amended the listing on Stayz immediately but didnt have the courtesy to even answer our email.Having stayed in 4 properties on our trip to Tasmania the booking procedure with L’Abode Accommodation was the most difficult and onerous.
