Perfectly positioned between the ocean and bay on the Mornington Peninsula, this spacious, recently renovated Western Red Cedar home combines the charm of an iconic 1980s "Pine Palace" with all the comforts of modern living. Surrounded by tranquil terraced gardens, the property offers four bedrooms, including a private self-contained apartment with kitchenette and ensuite, three bathrooms, and a generous alfresco balcony designed for year-round entertaining.
Ideal for families, golf groups, and wedding guests, the home comfortably accommodates larger groups. A fold-out sofa bed can be made up as an additional sleeping space, allowing up to two extra guests. Please advise at the time of booking if this is required.

Tawny Frogmouths, the remarkable owl-like birds known for their incredible camouflage, have occasionally been spotted among the trees surrounding the property. If you're lucky, you may see one perched motionless during the day, blending seamlessly into the branches, or hear their gentle calls in the evening. This little piece of local magic inspired the home's name: Tawny Rest.
Travelling as a couple or only need one bedroom? The self-contained Little Tawny Studio, located beneath the main house, is also available to book separately for smaller stays.

The house is a functional relaxing open space that also allows you separation to have a peaceful nap if you need. This property is close by the beach and shopping centres very comfortable great for families.
A great location and big house for a large family . Living areas are spacious and covered balcony.
