Chandler's Charm - Your Little Piece of Heaven! Dog Friendly - With Fee

Welcome to Chandler's Charm! This adorable cottage lives up to it's name. Beautifully renovated with a huge deck overlooking beautiful all sports Chandler Lake.

If you'd like to travel with your fur baby - we have recently become pet friendly. For an additional pet fee, you are able to bring one dog of 50 pounds or less. Please be sure to select "traveling with pets" to ensure the pet fee is added to your reservation - and tell me about your dog when you're booking.

Take advantage of the awesome sunsets from the large windows in the cottage, the beautiful deck or the lower dock. Enjoy the abundant wildlife that you may see on the road or across the street in the township park. Chandler Lake is a great little lake without a lot of boat traffic. Excellent fishing for large mouth bass, blue gill, sunfish and pike. Great lake for kayaking, floating on rafts, paddle boarding, and hanging out on the sand bar. Enjoy the lake by kayak (2) included in rental. There's a sand bar part way across the lake that you can relax at.

We've truly spent the extra time to create a great vacation get away - from the canoe paddle bed to the pendant lights made from reclaimed minnow buckets. The furnishings of the cottage will make you smile as soon as you walk in the door. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes/pots and pans you'll need for cooking meals - if you so desire. Comfortable beds - with new memory foam mattresses - will be waiting for you after your day on the lake or your day of exploring the beautiful Traverse City area. There is also a brand new mattress for the sofa bed in the living room. A new hot water heater and water softener will add to the pleasure of your stay. A new improvement for 2025 was the addition of a washer and dryer! Our guests have loved having that convenience.
The updates and attention to detail will ensure that your have a great stay and make you want to return year after year!

Among the many great things this property has to offer is the wide lot providing extra privacy for you to enjoy the peaceful lake and neighborhood. Directly across the quiet road is an 80 acre park with walking & biking trails, pavilion, small playground and restroom. A little further down the road is Grace McDonald Park with tennis courts/pickle ball courts, basketball, large playground, baseball diamond, expansive trails, grills and picnic tables.

This country setting will make you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, yet you are only minutes from downtown Traverse City and area attractions. It's great to have the best of everything and that's what Chandler's Charm provides.

Chandler’s Charm is a great place to relax and spend time with family and nature. The house is equipped with EVERYTHING you’d need or even forgot to bring with you (and we’re a family of 6!) We had a great time at Traverse City during our visit. This cottage was beautiful, clean, and just perfect for our getaway. It had enough places for our toddler to run around and it's close driving distance to playgrounds, hiking, and shops. We will be coming back.

Chandler's Charm is a wonderful place to stay!!

What a fabulous place to stay! From a beautiful view of the lake, great fishing, a nice dock with kayaks and a great deck for morning coffee and grilling out, this place was perfect for our time in Traverse City. It was just the right size for our family. The beds were comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the decor was super cute. Sally stopped in on our first day and was so welcoming, warm and friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful view & cabin! Great place for making memories! Loved having the kayaks & life jackets too. A fantastic week!

We had a wonderful week enjoying the cabin, lake, and Traverse City! The cabin had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. Sally, the property manager, is exceptional and her organization and communication made setting up our stay a breeze. The ability to also rent the pontoon boat was a great bonus as we spent many days relaxing on the boat and playing at the sand bar in the lake. Thank you again Sally for all your help and we can’t wait to come back!
