Compact recently renovated unit ( 2018) straight over the road from lake reserve with beautiful views of the lake and the historic village of Ohinemutu. The apartment has everything you might need as a business person or vacationer within easy walking distance to the city centre ( 10-15 minute walk) . The village of Ohinemutu has many attractions including thermal pools, Maori meeting houses, historic church, lovely cafe and bakery all within a 5 minute walk from apartment .

Lovely neighbourhood, great host

The long-standing and very-much-continuing Maori presence around the geothermal area here is magical, and this upstairs cottage rental unit is part of it. The host, Paora was very friendly.

Well positioned, charming apartment

We had three adults and were very comfortable. Short walk to main shopping area. Quiet location at night. Sliding door was a little temperamental and sides steps posed a challenge with large baggage but otherwise a lovely apartment.

Great location

Nice and quiet, with great outlook. Good cafe and bakery nearby on Lake Road. Steep stairs up on the outside are a bit daunting for older folk, so this property unsuitable if you have mobility issues. Also the loose post at the top is a danger and must be fixed ASAP.

Good location dont be fooled by the bakery photo it is a bit of a walk up hill. The veiw was great loved being so close to the hit and boiling natural springs.Place really needs an update. I dont know if the host is worried about people stealing things but for the price we were paying i expect better pans dishes ect. Btw using cheap soap and paper product has people using more no real savings.I did enjoy my bed comphy.

My apartment has one of the best views in Rotorua & I aim to provide the most cost effective accommodation that I can , having said that I never scrimp & save on the facilities that I offer guests . For people’s information the bakery is literally a 5 minute walk away , yes for two minutes of that work it is up hill .
