Kyomachiya near the World Heritage Toji

A guesthouse located just a short walk from Tōji Temple, an UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We have renovated a traditional Kyoto townhouse (Kyomachiya), built using time-honored local construction methods, into a guesthouse.

The ground floor features a kitchen area, bathroom, toilet with a bidet, sink, and laundry area.

We’ve also prepared a garden viewable from the Japanese-style room, designed to help you unwind.
Please enjoy the scenery that changes with the seasons.
One of the Japanese-style rooms features a ceiling design made by piecing together kimono fabrics.
This, too, is sure to make your view something special.

We hope you’ll relax and unwind during your stay and enjoy Kyoto to the fullest.

This room is certified as a “Kyoto Machiya”
built using traditional Japanese construction methods.

We’ve prepared this ryokan with the hope that it will evoke a sense of nostalgia and tranquility, much like your grandmother’s home.


Within this setting, we collaborated with a professional designer to create a space that stands out with its light and radiance, offering an escape from the everyday.
Another highlight is the view of a small courtyard garden inspired by the kare-sansui (dry landscape) style, which can be enjoyed from this room.

We’ve thoroughly renovated the bathrooms and other wet areas, resulting in a room that combines the best of traditional Japan with modern conveniences.
We hope you’ll use this space as a base for sightseeing or business.
