Super cozy, quiet and serene! Tucked away but still close enough to restaurants and other things to do. Lovely hiking close by and a wonderful place to bring your pup!

Thank you so much for your review. We hope you will visit again in the future.
The cabin is in a beautiful spot, very quiet (except for the duck quacking which was fun). Easy access from the car, easy access to local places of interest.
Very quiet and relaxing stay in a most beautiful part of North Georgia
The cabin was just what I was looking for.- A beautiful area which was quiet and peaceful with many t trails and waterfalls nearby to explore . The proximity to the quaint town of Clayton with it’s restaurants and unique shops was also great.

We had a nice stay at the lodge. It was very clean and staff responded quickly to any questions we had. It was nice to have the creek, waterfall and lake right on the property to relax at, while not being far from town and other scenic areas.

Thank you so much for your review. The remodels were completed not long ago. We are planning on updating our photo's as soon as we have sunny days that will really showcase the property.
During our October visit, the property was stunning! The cabin left a bit to be desired (moldy coffee pot, surfaces not wiped down, no blankets for pullout couch), but morning walks through the gorgeous orange leaves and waterfall made up for it! It’s quiet & tucked away but still very central to town.

We are happy that you enjoyed the beautiful surroundings at Valley Springs. We apologize for the appearance of dust on counters. Your cabin had been cleaned a few weeks before your stay. We are in the process of putting dehumidifiers in the lodge units because of the constant moisture from the lake. Thank you for pointing out the blanket was missing for the sofa bed.
Are you kidding? A waterfall on the property! Gorgeous setting a short drive away from all that you need and countless hikes, state parks and other waterfalls.
This trip was an unexpected trip and turned out to be one of our best ever. The lodging was cozy and allowed us to spend quality time as a family. The property is gorgeous, from mountain wooded scenery to waterfalls and creeks that make you feel closer to God and his creation. The people we met on the property were very helpful and nice and even shared about some cool places to eat.(The Rusty bike) was very yummy and welcoming place to eat.We had Mexican a aplace called Marquise(I think) now our favorite mexican place. We had so much fun just being on the property we can't wait to go back.

Thank you for your review. We do enjoy reading the discoveries our guests make and how you enjoyed the property. Please come again to our little oasis of peace and serenity.
The property was perfect for our first overnight trip with our new pup. She absolutely loved it! The pond in front of the cabin was perfect for her to frolic in. She loved the waterfall which was within walking distance, as well as the vast amount of open space to just run. Although it rained the majority of our stay, we still were able to enjoy sitting on the covered porch and watching the rain fall.
I know this cabin is for pets, but I didn’t feel 100% comfortable with the level of cleanliness. (There were muddy paw prints on the back of the bathroom door that I ended up cleaning myself.) But overall, for the short notice stay, the price, the beautiful property and the proximity to GA, I would recommend this property for a getaway.

We are so happy to read that you and your fur baby enjoyed the property. Thank you for letting us know about the paw prints on the bath door. I will instruct housekeeping to watch for that in the future. That's a new one for us!
The location and overall facilities were up to snuff. There were some small things that were inconvenient that didn't have to do with the remoteness of the location. The location and ambience were absolutely beautiful. I hope this only goes to the management and not the public though. Where electrical wires went into walls, like for the heater or light fixtures, or the ceiling fan, there were large open holes and subsequently there was a modest amount of insects to deal with... what looked like stink bugs. I took them outside. Also, where the short, lidded trash can was located in the kitchen there is a wooden structure at head level above it, so when bent over to open the lid and throw something away you hit your head on the wooden structure. Maybe put a marker to let people know this is a hazard or move the trashcan. These are minor though, which is why I wanted this to only go to management. It was a beautiful unit and like I said the location was breathtaking.

Beautiful Property, Great Location - BUT!
We have family in the area that we visit frequently and have struggled to find someplace reasonably priced to stay that we can bring our dog. This facility was good for that purpose, but there were a few problems that affected us humans. First, and most important, the listing stated that the bedroom had 1 queen bed and 1 full bed - in actuality there were only 2 full beds. This made sleeping for my husband and I, with our 2 grandchildren, a real problem as it only left us sleeping in a bed that was entirely too small for 2 older adults. Had the description of this been accurate, I would not have booked this particular room. The other issues: outside porch light didnt work, the air-conditioner was very loud and blew out black flecks, and the outside grill and furniture around the firepit were in great need of cleaning. All that being said, we may consider staying here again in the other dog friendly cabin when it's only the 2 of us. It's a beautiful spot and very convenient for our visits with family.

We appreciate our guests and any comments or suggestions. We assure you that your cabin is furnished with one queen size bed and one full size bed and also a sofa bed downstairs. Outside porch lights are motion lights. When these switches inside are turned off and not reset properly, the lights will not reset properly. Grills are easily cleaned by lighting, turn temp up to high and closing the lid for a few minutes. The A/C did need a filter. We have an information book that gives all directions for our guests to reach out to management anytime with any concerns. We are just a call away. We apologize for the condition of the fire pit and furniture. We have experienced an abundance of rain storms throughout spring and summer. These leave us with many issues to address. Some times we just cannot complete all the necessities in-between bookings. We strive to make sure our guests have water, sewer, power, wifi, clean facilities and all the amenities we advertise. Thank you for admiring our beautiful views and properties. We hope you will choose to book with us again.
This is a great place to take a vacation and relax. The property is beautiful and well kept. It has ponds, streams and a waterfall right by the cabin, couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend the weekend.

Took my grandsons on a mini vacation and they love the outdoors. This place was quite a neat place for them. They loved exploring the property. Really an interesting place and good location. Felt like we were way out, but in reality, pretty close to everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay.
