The Gums McLaren Vale

The Gums McLaren Vale is a fully furnished and equipped 4BR holiday house on 11 acres with beautiful views over McLaren Vale, walking distance to the Shiraz trail, township & wineries and a few minutes' drive to the beach. It is the perfect location from which to explore the McLaren Vale wine region.

The house has everything you need, including coffee machine, flat screen TVs, wifi internet, audio dock, record player (and a stack of vinyl), library, modern kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, two living areas, two queen beds, one double and two singles (which can be converted to a king bed). There's an open fire and a combustion heater for the winter and a reverse cycle air conditioner. In winter you can enjoy a glass of wine by the outdoor fire pit, or watch the kangaroos from the verandah where there is a BBQ and plenty of outdoor seating.

A great weekend

We had a wonderful weekend at The Gums at Mclaren Vale. We had a busy day at wineries including walking down the road for lunch which was so easy. We will be going back there with all our family and would recommend this accommodation to our friends. Thank you. Velma Jones

Lovely convenient location. Nice, well equipped house.

We had a lovely time staying at Jillian’s house. The kids loved the kangaroos that hang around the house. Conveniently located near the main rd, close to wineries and not far to the beach. The house is perfect for two families with two master bedrooms and seperate living areas. We had a very relaxing stay.

Fantastic stay and communication!

I had booked this accommodation for a wedding and following borders opening asked to increase the number of people staying. Jillian quickly responded to all of these requests and was so helpful in the lead up and throughout our entire stay. The property was stunning and has so much character, we all really thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

Country getaway

Comfortable home with an charming 80s vibe. House is spacious and well laid out and had plenty of room for the six of us. We loved the open fires - and kept toasty warm all week long. Jillian is an extremely attentive and responsive host. We had a very relaxing break from city life!

The Gums Mc Laren Vale

This is a great house to stay in with a large family. The house has all the comforts you would expect and close to the town of Mc Laren Vale. Jillian is a great host and gave us some really good tips on local destinations and walks. We will be back Jillian!.

The perfect getaway

Absolutely magnificent property set In the beautiful Australian bush with sweeping views over some of the vineyards of this world class wine region. Quiet and peaceful, perfect for 4 couples, a 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk to the town and the property is even better than what you see on the web. Thouroughly recommend The Gums. Greg D
