Perfect little get-away!

If you're looking for a peaceful escape into nature, you've found it! Mike's home is cute and cozy and nestled into a quiet, private area in the woods. Mike is friendly and responsive.

Charming Cottage

The town of Haines Falls is indeed story book charming. The house was clean and it had a large kitchen. Bathroom was a bit small and the tub was cute but not functional; hard to get in and out of. The porch and backyard was the highlight. We spent wonderful evenings cooking out and telling stories around the fire. Overall, a great experience.

Very old and dirty place. Poor maintenance. Not recommended .

The appliances, the microwave oven and the toaster in the kitchen, very dirty. Except the refrigerator. The bathroom like a haunted corner with old and broken parts. See the shower. Vrbo must check the recommended proprieties . It's you name in this game.

This guest set he record for the amount of garbage anyone has ever left....over 100 pounds and the house smelled bad. The kitchen, bathrooms and entire house where clean when they got there and the spirts they brought left with you. The toaster over needs replacing and will be. One step at a time. There has been a lot of work done to this house you can't see and now it's on to the things you can see. This is an cool old house not a 5 star hotel and priced according. It still needs some work and is always getting better as I continue to work on it . The front porch was just painted and and a nice place to hang out. The bedrooms are next. I should have learned my lesson by now about the people who talk you down in price. Unless you a disposal company i would not recomand this guest.

I like to ski bike and hike in the local area. This is such a beautiful place to be in the summer time as well as the winter. There are 35 peaks over 3500' in the Catskills and hopefully someday I will have hiked them all.

Why they chose this property

the property is easy to get to from all areas and close to town with many new restaurants.
