About this property
Sunset's on Somerset | Stroll to town through the park
Our home is the perfect light-filled space to spend quality time with friends and loved ones.
Set in a family-friendly tree-lined street close to the heart of Mansfield, enjoy a stroll through the leafy Botanical Park for your morning coffee (and a stop at the playground if you have little ones). We are lucky to have a selection of cafes, restaurants, boutique stores and amenities all within 500m of our doorstep.
Our favourite ways to enjoy the home are sharing home cooked meals around the big table, watching the sun rise and set with a coffee or drink on the deck, playing lawn games under the shady tree in the back yard and warming up by the fire in winter.
We pride our selves on providing a very clean and comfortable space for our guests to enjoy. The beds are super comfy, with electric blankets to keep you extra toasty in the winter. There are fans and heaters in all three of the bedrooms, as well as r/c a/c's in the open plan living area and the main bedroom.
Our favourite cafes include the Mansfield Coffee Merchant for all day breaky and locally roasted coffee; along with the Mansfield Regional Produce Store for a relaxed vibe, great food, local wine and produce. The Field's and Honcho are our favourites for dinner with share plates, fun cocktails and amazing hospitality. The town is full of boutique stores to browse and farmers markets are held once a month.
If you’re feeling like an adventure we are lucky enough to be surrounded by some of the best mountain bike trails and 4WD tracks in Victoria, there are also plenty of hiking/walking trails to conquer on foot and streams to fish. Enjoy a refreshing dip at our favourite swimming holes.
During winter you can enjoy over 300 hectares of skiable terrain and sight seeing at Mt Buller as well as cross-country skiing and more at Mt Stirling. Mansfield’s main ski hire and ticketing stores are within a 1km of our home, so getting geared up is easy!
Spend a day checking out the local wineries located in Mansfield and The King Valley with wine tastings and beautiful food 7 days a week.
There is so much more to discover and we are very excited to help you enjoy your time spent in Mansfield!
