Quiet little place

It is a quiet little place to relax, away from the noise. Location is very close to McConnelsville downtown and the riverfront. Good restaurants nearby. The property is in good condition, though small for the number of people listed. The bunk beds were pretty inconvenient with low ceilings. Also there was only 1 AC in the whole property, which didn't supply air very well in the bedrooms at night. But overall, we enjoyed the stay.

Cabin near Muskingum river

A friend and I did a weekend getaway to the cabin. We are kayakers, and we wanted to paddle the Muskingum and check out some of the locks. The cabin is very close to Rokeby lock. The cabin was nice, extremely clean, and quiet. It is close to a road, but it's a very quiet road. Perhaps one car an hour. Nice fire pit with lots of free wood. Maybe 7 miles and 10 minutes to McConnelsville for dinner, grocery store, etc. I would absolutely stay there again!

My husband, myself, our four children and my brother all stayed for the weekend while we were in town visiting family. Property was squeaky clean, and well cared for. Dishes and cooking utensils in the kitchen were appreciated. One bedroom had a queen bed and the other had 3 sets of bunk beds. Great for the kids, not so great if you need adults to use the top bunks as the ceilings are lower. My kids are old enough, but if you have young children I would be cautious due to the drop off behind the house. The fire pit was great, however everything was a little too wet for us to use it. If there are slight mobility issues the house is perfect, but the yard is on an incline and the fire pit is further away from the house. Very secluded, but close enough to mcconellsville and zanesville if you need anything.We enjoyed our stay very much and would book again!

Ohio trip

Very nice place to stay, everything was neat and clean and everything worked great. Owner was very quick to reply to questions. We enjoyed it so much that I have already booked another stay next year.

Great area. Nice and quiet

Stayed for the weekend with my wife. Great place to get away for a bit. Fire pit was nice and place was as described. Owners were friendly and easy to get in touch with.

Great place to getaway

Relaxing and great place to meet up with family and we had great experience hanging out by fire pit and cooking out. Beds were comfortable and place was very clean and well supplied.

Great quiet place

Myself and 3 friends, on motorcycles, spent a 3 day weekend at this house. It was exactly as advertised. Plenty of utensils and pots and pans to cook meals in. The fire pit was our favorite feature.

Cozy Cabin

We absolutely loved this place! Cute cozy place that you can relax. Not too far from town yet still has the country feel! Quiet, no neighbors! It was awesome! Would definitely come back!

Great weekend getaway

My wife and I our three kids and mother in law wanted to getaway for the weekend. We rented the property and we were extremely surprised! Great location! The property was very clean. They had extras we weren’t expecting. Soap, cleaning supplies even welcomed us to use bottles of water and food they had there. Washer and dryer as well which we needed because my kids enjoyed playing in the creek out back. We didn’t use the fire Fire pit but it was available. We were surrounded by things to do and places to visit. Aep recreation land is close by which is why we booked. I would recommend. And we are even thinking about going back later this year !

Great location...cozy house!

Cabin was easy to find and not far off the main roadway. It was inviting and cozy, and perfect for a New Years getaway. Several towns close by and lots of outdoor recreation.
