Rose Cottage is ideal for bushwalkers, families & couples wanting to relax in the peaceful surroundings as well as friends and family wanting to enjoy the restaurants and scenic sights within walking distance of Rose Cottage.

If you enjoy walking it will take approximately 20 minutes to walk to Katoomba Railway Station and village shops, cafes & restaurants.

Or a 3 minute bus ride which you can catch around the corner from Rose Cottage. Taxis are also available. Leura is also just a short drive away with its many speciality shops, cafes and restaurants.

Perfect stay

Surrounded by birds (even a Lyre bird in the garden!) and so close to the bush, but then also so close to all the amenities. This is a great cottage for a perfect Mountains holiday.

Wonderful Location!!

We loved our stay at Rose Cottage. As people who live outside of Australia, we were amazed by all the Cockatoo in the area, and other beautiful birds. It was within walking distance of the beautiful Blue Mountains hikes and downtown Katoomba. I really loved the character of the cottage, and we were also happy spending time ‘at home’ there. It had everything that we needed.

Charming cottage in great location

Rose Cottage was perfect for a short getaway with my two sisters. It’s cosy and comfortable, surrounded by a lovely, lush garden oasis. It’s in a very quiet location while being close to all of the local attractions. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

My family went to Katoomba to celebrate 🎉 our mums 90 th birthday & the twins 60th The location was close, wonderfully close to the 3 sisters which mum loves & walked there ever morning for a coffee The house was extremely comfortable & the gardens very peaceful Thank you so so much

We enjoyed our stay in your cosy, warm retreat. It's in a great location to go bush walking from and exploring the area. Lot's of lovely cafes and restaurants to enjoy too. Would definitely recommend!

Hidden Gem in the Mountains!

Lovely house in a relaxing location

Very clean home with lovely furnishings, linen and other touches. Kitchen was great and had all that you needed. Also a great location for bush walking - just a short walk to the Prince Henry Cliff Walk!

Comfortable stay in a perfect location

From first contact Marilla was warm and welcoming and this house reflected that. Terrific location, lovely garden full of bird life, lyrebirds spotted just around the corner a highlight. Highly recommended!

Very quiet relaxing home away from home

We had a wonderful weekend at Rose Cottage very relaxing and only complaint is that we didn’t have longer ti enjoy the gorgeous cottage and surrounds. Thanks to Marilla for making us so welcome we’ll definitely be back hopefully for longer next time!
