Relax with the whole family at this peaceful lakeside retreat. With a beautiful outdoor space, bbq, firepit, kayak, with access to water, this cottage is spacious enough to provide its guest with comfort and joy. This Heritage waterfront-type cottage is suitable for family & friends.

The cottage is waterfront on Lake Simcoe and has 4 bedrooms, 2 washrooms, with a large parking spot. Living area with comfortable seating and a fireplace, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. Bedrooms are cozy and comfortable, with warm bedding. with plenty of cozy seating areas and accessibility to all the necessities making it the best getaway location. We ask that you treat this cozy cottage as if it were your own, as we have high respect for our renters.

A patio faces the lake, with 6 seating and a barbecue grill for outdoor meals. The lake is perfect for swimming, boating, and fishing. The cottage has a private dock and 2 kayaks.

This beautiful lakefront house is close to parks, ski hills, and walking/cross-country ski trails.

Family friendly

We really enjoyed being lakefront. We were only 4 people but the place could have easily accommodated more. We were lucky enough to have warm weather and the air conditioning worked very well. There was good hot water for showers. The full sized kitchen and barbecue made cooking for the family easy. We would be more than happy to stay here again.

Beautiful cottage on the lake!

We can only recommend this cottage. Sophie was a super host, easy to talk to, quick to respond. She made sure we had all we needed. Great house for a family with kids. All you need is there. The location is superb. The house is comfortable, the hot tub amazing and the view of the lake just perfect. Kayaks to use, a lovley garden to relax and spacious rooms to sleep. We will try and be back again.

Sophie's cottage is in a beautiful location with a great view across the lake. The cottage is clean and the living spaces are very comfortable, but unfortunately the beds need upgrading. It was a bit of a Goldilocks scenario. The laminate flooring boards slid around quite a bit but luckily no toes were pinched. Also, we had some safety concerns outside with the railing and the concrete steps. That said, we still had a wonderful time. The kids especially liked the hot tub & we loved having coffee in the morning at the end of the dock. We also enjoyed the firepit, and the BBQ was clean & worked well. Sophie was very responsive to texts. There is plenty of parking and check-in was a breeze.
