Left in less than 12 hours. I was forgiving of the fact that the place needed work and could use a deep clean. But then we found blood drops on the kitchen floor. Assuming our dog had hurt herself (even though we couldn’t find an injury), we cleaned it up. Finally, on the bathroom floor, we found a tiny balloon, the kind used to transport drugs. We packed up and left. Didn’t get a refund, which I guess is fine. It was a non-refundable reservation. But I’d hoped for some kind of restitution for that bad of an experience.

Changed location, but wonderful

Our original reservation was for the Oaks on Colonial as pictured, but we ended up staying in the Oaks on Springhill because of circumstances beyond the owner's control. He was very quick to notify us of the change and chose a similar property based on our needs. So, just to be clear, Springhill is the subject of this review. Both properties are owned by Danny who is friendly and easy to communicate with. The Oaks on Springhill suited our needs perfectly and was quiet, yet convenient to major freeways. The property was nicely furnished and very clean. Beds were comfortable and the backyard was large and fenced which was wonderful for the pets that we were transporting from Florida to Texas. Our stay was brief, but very enjoyable. Thank you Danny!

We spent a very nice time in Mobile in Dany's house. The house is big, would need however to be updated. There is only one bathroom for 3 bedrooms wich is sometimes difficult to handle.

Not up to expectations

We stayed in an alternate property than the one reserved because previous guests in the one reserved had covid. While I appreciate the alternate property, it was extremely dirty and had some health hazards in my opinion. I definitely do not feel this property met or would meet the standards of VRBO and would not stay in it ever again.

Amazing!!

Danny is an amazing host!! Property is well kept, he kept in touch with us during the whole stay. I thought I was supposed to check out on the 14th but come to find out I only hit the 13th and he let us make arrangements for staying another day! Overall rating 20/10!! When I come back to Mobile, this is who I will book with from now on!!
