Peaceful and quiet home with Marsh views. Walk to the beach.

Saturday to Saturday rentals only
Our home is located on a quiet street with an extraordinary marsh view. It is a quick walk to the beach and a perfect place to ride bikes and have a quiet family get away. It is also a birders paradise!
The back yard is fully fenced in and both porches have gates. There is a full family size outdoor shower with hot and cold water to wash down when you come home from the beach. There is seating on the front and back porch. The front porch is covered.

***Our house is a no smoking, no smoking outside, no smokers rental.
****We rent smoke and pet free due to my allergies.

Beautiful 4 bedroom house on unique and quiet Marsh Hen Drive with incredible views of marshland while only 200 yards from the beach. The best of beach and nature in one on a quiet street. The best part of this home is that it is located on a quiet street. This is a place to escape the loud music and cars. Sit back on the porch while your kids ride their bikes and listen to the birds. Take a stroll either direction to a public wooden walking bridge to walk out into the marsh to see and hear the marsh and creek. We are a 5 minute walk to the beach ... but so is everyone on this side of the island. The beauty of this house is your are at the beach but surrounded by the nature that makes Oak Island special. (Sorry no pets)

Marsh Hen is a true Oak Island treasure. It is a small private street backed by the Davis Creek marsh. If you want a lovely private vacation on Oak Island where you can enjoy morning coffee or tea while watching the birds of the marsh out back or relaxing on the covered porch out front watching your kids ride their bikes on a quiet street this house is a great place to settle in.

The house has 4 bedrooms. 1 king, 1 queen, 1 queen, and a set of twins. There are 2 full bathrooms. There are 2 bedrooms on each side of the house with a bath in between. The living-room has a large wrap-around sofa and small love seat and coffee table. The dining area has a raised table with six dining chairs. The kitchen has all updated appliances.
