This was a sweet little place that was perfect for our weekend visit. Our host was so thoughtful and made sure we had everything we needed. It was a nice quiet neighborhood. The big back yard provided a great area to rest in between our activities. I would definitely stay here again.
There were definite pluses and minuses for this property. The bathroom and kitchen area were very nice. The living room area featured a very musty sofa (not the one pictured in the listing). We killed many bugs in the bathroom. Although a note in the house said to enjoy the large fenced-in yard, the only place to sit was a broken glider. The location was very convenient to where our son's wedding was held (The Lift).
We did a weekend of concerts at The Fraze and stayed Friday and Saturday. The house was clean and accommodating.
Problems were the remote did not work the TV so no TV, blinds on windows were missing especially bedroom area. Also, a hodgepodge of towels to use, some worn, not sets.
I tried to contact the property manager about the TV but not sure if the cyber issue was not letting me text /email but there was always an error in trying to reach out.
Anyhow….it was a nice stay and would recommend if you need to stay in the Kettering area.
Reserved for 2 employees, couch in listing is NOT what is there, you sit and sink to floor, major stains on furniture. Moldy/musky smell throughout home. Both guys had issues with breathing. Water leaking from refrigerator which was pulled away from wall, wet the 2 nights they stayed. Pot catching water under sink with rotten wood. Messaged property manager about issues, she thought maybe floor just mopped, or they used a sour mop. Nothing got resolved and the previous reviews were good, but my guys video chatted me when there and it's all true. Tried to call a couple times to get help since messaging on the VRBO site was being ignored after my guys left, rings about 20 times then hangs up. I don't usually leave reviews like this, but when there is a health issue and you get no help, I need to let others know. Sticking a de-humidifier in the house (message to me from manager) is not going to get rid of that damp moldy smell. My guys stayed 2 nights, I tried to get something resolved, no call backs or messages, but still charge me for 9 Nights!
A very quiet neighborhood and a nice little piece of property with leafy trees outside every window. We really appreciated how attentive the owner was to our questions and how quickly she got back with any request.
