Palm Paradise, unit 2A, at Dunes Club is one of the most luxurious condos in the building. It is the end unit on the 2nd floor and is accessible by elevator. Featuring granite countertops, travertine floors, specialized lighting, and body sprays in the master shower. The furnishings offer the feel of the West Indies, with dark wood furniture, soft oversize sofa and palm tree accents. Every detail from comfy mattresses to an extremely well equipped kitchen can be found here.
Floor Plan: The entire condo is one level with 3 bedrooms, 2 of them masters one with a king bed, one with a queen and a set of bunk beds in the 3rd. The large oversize deck overlooks the pool and Gulf and is the perfect spot for morning coffee or an afternoon nap. Amenities include 1 42" flat screen TV in the Living Room, 3 more TV’s, 2DVD's, 1VCR's, stereo, games, videos, DVD’s, books, beach chairs and toys.

Disappointed
Both baths had extensive mold around shower and tub. Master bath had broken shower door. Master bath had clogged shower head. Living room carpet had corner turned up, trip hazard. Living room light had only 1 bulb working. 2 of 3 pendent light had no bulbs in them. When we opened the refrigerator both the freezer and fridge gaskets fell loose. One of the under-cabinet lights had no bulbs or lens. Electrical junction box in cabinet, above refrigerator, had no face plate.
Maintenance man came by shortly after check-in and we went over the issues with him. He did fix the turned-up carpet. He said he would be back with cleaners for the bathroom and thank us for temporarily fixing refrigerator gaskets and said should be replaced. He said to contact Pristine Properties and let them know the issues. I first texted them the issues and they answered back stating that I had to use their portal to let them know the issues. I did repeat the issues as they had asked me to through their portal. They never responded and the maintenance man never showed up as promised. We bought mold and mildew cleaner to clean and kill the mold which helped but some of the guests were still having breathing issues because it being elsewhere in the unit. Some of the dished we used were not clean which made us wonder what the cleaning people actually do and why we would give them so much money if that's how they clean a unit. Very disappointed in the condition of the unit as it is not being maintained as it.

Upon arrival. The place was pretty dirty. The lower bunkbed was messy and looked like a pet or someone had been laying in it. There was tons of dust and dirty slippers sticking out of the master bed. Shower bath was pretty bad too. Shower heads well over due for a changing. Back deck was not maintained well either. We washed the master bed sheets out of abundance of caution. Check in directions were easy and accurate. I didn't see anything about parking or if guest were allowed to park under the condo. Overall the place was ok, just poor maintenance and up keep. Not recommending
Our over all experience was great. The kitchen was fully equipped with what ever we needed. The beds were very comfortable. There was a storage closet down in the parking area with beach chairs and sand toys! There were games and books for the whole family. There was a couple of down falls. There was no kitchen table and the bar only had 6 bar stools. We had 8 people so some had a sit else where. However, there was a large table out on the porch that would accommodate everyone. The dryer had to be run several times to dry the clothes. We wished we would’ve had more towels. We would visit again.
Nice small town area. I was very impressed with the online check in and checkout and keyless entry. It was effortless.
I would recommend that someone leave visible instructions on where the key to the storage area is located. We were there for two days before we found it in the laundry room. As a result our beach rental gear went missing.
Overall this is a great place for a nice yet simple getaway. Thank you!
Pristine Realty was difficult to work with. The condo is outdated and needs not only a facelift but also a good cleaning. I had to scrub the kitchen counter top and there was sand in the shower. The fees between VRBO and Pristine Realty were a ridiculous amount of money and made the rental a terrible deal. Look for other ways to rent property in this area.
