The Lazy Acre: Waterfront cottage with unparalleled views of Smith's Bay.

Open concept, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom waterfront cottage with the brightest kitchen in the county. Dining for 8 at the spacious kitchen island, indoor sunroom dining table, or lakeside harvest table with bench seating. 120 feet of waterfront offers spectacular views of Smith's Bay. Kitchen offers fridge, wine fridge, range, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender and Keurig coffee maker. 5 burner BBQ plus side burner on propane line for outdoor cooking-no changing tanks! If Waupoos breezes do not offer enough air, the Lazy Acre has central air conditioning.
High speed Wifi, Roku TV with Apple TV, Netflix and Prime-just bring your password!
If you need more room, there is a property across the road that can accommodate 8 more people, rent it and have a family reunion.
An acre of property for family fun with dock and walk-in entrance to Smith's Bay. Bring your fishing rod to catch off the dock! Enjoy a campfire at the fire pit and the stars!
Please indicate at booking the number of pets (2 small/medium dogs) you plan to bring. Click on where it says Travelers to indicate pets.
2 Provincial Park passes are available for use at Sandbanks. An online reservation is recommended to ensure a spot.

We enjoyed our family getaway at Lazy Acres. The views of the bay are beautiful and the area is very quiet. We really enjoyed the sun room where we spent our evenings playing board games . Enjoyed kayaking in the bay. Loved that it was pet friendly. Our 2 dogs enjoyed the large grounds to run around. Would book again!

We had a great stay at the Lazy Acre Cottage! The cottage is completely modernized on the inside, with cottage-charm on the outside. It has everything you need for a perfect family vacation. Access to kayaks was nice for the kids to have fun on the water, and the dock made lake swimming very enjoyable. Located about 15 mins from downtown Picton, 12 minutes to Lake on the Mountain, and close to all the fun summer cider houses and local markets. Patricia was very responsive upon check in as there was an alarm sounding upon arrival. She told us exactly what to do and had a repairman onsite within an hour. We’ll be booking again! Highly recommend!

Incredible location

Amazing place to escape the city. Very clean cottage, great fire pit and view of the lake. The cottage has everything you need and Patricia was very kind and responsive.
