About this property

We welcome our guest to our 840 sq ft cottage, located in the charming community of Sandy hook. This cottage will comfortably accommodate 6 guests! With a loft and 3 bedrooms and 1 Bath you can bring down the whole family for a getaway. 2-3 mins walk to the beach.

The open-concept living room/
kitchen combination features a dinning table. The fully equipped kitchen includes all major appliances: microwave, full fridge and stove.
Curl up on our comfy couches where you can relax and read a book or enjoy the smart roku TV or dvd movies you can select.

Realiable Internet and wifi is available.The three bedrooms and loft will cater you with 3 single bed, 1 queen bed and 1bunk bed with 1single and 1 double mattress. With a three piece washroom on the main floor that features tub shower.

Other things to note

Guests can enjoy a fully functional kitchen stocked with pots, pans, coffee maker, cooking utensils, dinnerware and glassware. Firepit with gazebo at the back yard, perfect for family bonding during nights.Bedsheets and pillows are provided but your free to bring your own extra.

It was great!

The cabin is cute, and had ample beds for our group. We really enjoyed all of the outdoor seating options, and the fact that it's just a short walk to a pier on the water. It's also in a great location right between Gimli and Winnipeg beach!

Cabin Country, Lake Winnipeg

Sandy Hook is a cabin country between Gimli and Winnipeg Beach. Bring all your supplies as Winnipeg Beach is the closest grocer. The coffee maker needs basket filter or the coffee pods not supplied. Read carefully the supplies provided. Waste water all goes into a holding tank that needs to be pumped out so conserve water. River rocks around fire pit are a challenge. Back yard had bucked up oak tree that had fallen. Outhouse would of been handy with eight guests as only one bathroom.

Great time for the most part

Cabin was good. Definitely had a fun time coming there. A con would be the beach. The water was not the cleanest, and there were a lot of stones on the first 20 feet of water. But overall was a nice and relaxed vacation

Cute cabin lovely yard

A perfect family cabin - rustic and comfy. We enjoyed the fire pit and the outdoor area. Also a great front porch to relax in. It’s an older cabin but it had everything we could want. Great location between Gimli and Winnipeg Beach The online listing stated no wifi so we were happy to find there is ! Joivi was very helpful and responded to all our questions. Would definitely come again.

Weekend

Cleanlyness was okay, (im a housekeeper, expectaions are VERY high, they were not up to my standards but acceptable.) With 6 adults there should have been more toilet paper (we ended up buying more) Overall thpugh it was good. The beds were comfy and clean!! The back yard was just what we needed!! Thank you!!
