Location was great with easy ski in/out. Condo was clean and kitchen well stocked with cookware, etc. The condo was clean but needs some updating and maintenance, like replacing broken window blinds and fixing thermostats so the heat can be adjusted.

Thanks for the 4‑star review and for staying with Great Western Lodging. Glad the ski‑in/ski‑out location, cleanliness, and well‑stocked kitchen worked well for you. We appreciate the heads-up about the blinds and thermostats — we’ll pass that along to our maintenance team. We hope to host you again and earn that 5‑star review.
Great location next to Snowflake lift. Although a bit dated, the unit was clean and functional.

Disappointed
This property was in an excellent location. However, the condo itself lacked basic things like drinking classes, oven mitts, cookie sheets and baking pans. The property manager was very responsive in getting us these items. The bathroom sink would not drain, which the property manager did not address. The blinds were 1/2 broken, and there were disgusting items under one of the beds.

We're glad you enjoyed the location, but we regret that the condo did not meet your expectations regarding amenities and cleanliness. We appreciate your feedback on the missing items, and it’s good to know we were able to assist you. We apologize for the sink issue and the condition of the blinds and will address these concerns with our maintenance team promptly.
Property not maintained well. Bedding smelled funny so we had to use our own stuff, fridge was turned off and smelled horrible, shower didn't work properly, nail strip for carpet exposed going in to bathroom exposed and stepped on it multiple times.

Thanks for your review. The fridge has since been replaced and other mainteance work orders were entered to ensure safety and showers were working properly.
This condo was perfectly located so close to the snowflake lift line and easy to ski back to (no poling!).
I would highly recommend installation of combo locks of some kind to avoid the check -in process at the office and need for actual keys. Especially for a larger group would be hard to manage with just 2 keys.
That said the unit was as advertised. Lots of space and clean. Needs updating but was aware of that given the listing.
The condo was a in a perfect location across from the Snowflake lift and next to the 4 O'clock run - so truly ski-in and ski-out. The condo was clean and fully functional and we enjoyed our stay.
However, I would mention three minor issues: 1) the 1/2 bath is really a 1/4 bath and was a sink in the 3rd bedroom (the listing should be adjusted and our expectation was it would have a third commode), 2) the heat was not controllable - hot during the day and seemed to shut off at night, 3) insufficient toiletries/trash bags (e.g., shampoo, etc.) with no shampoo in the master BR and only one small soap bar for the other bath and sink and only a couple of trash bags for our 6 day/5 night stay.
Glad we stayed and had a great vacay at Breck.

Let me start by saying the unit was clean and the location was ideal for 2 days of skiing. But, since I took the heat for all issues, I feel the need to comment on the following:1. Access - It is almost 2026 and you made me stop by the office downtown to pick up keys? Install a digital door lock or at least use the key lock box that was already installed next to the front door.2. Onsite Information - The initial access information provided had an incorrect WiFi password (missing caps, figured out myself) and an incorrect hot tub access code (updated info was provided when I called).3. Refrigerator - The freezer section was as loud as a gas generator whenever it was running. The mgmt company was quick to send a guy out when I called - but it was never fixed.4. Blinds - The blinds were shredded creating a privacy issue. (see picture) 5. TVs/Entertainment - No TV in one of the bedrooms, the TV in the Master bedroom was smaller than the screen on my laptop (see picture). Futhermore the access box in the Master was called a "Wally" and it was worthless.I don't expect all rooms to have cable access but I would recommend the following at a minimum:- Have a TV in all rooms. They should be the same make but different sizes.- The TVs should be smart. If not, have matching access boxes connected to all TVs (i.e. Roku) This will allow the renters to use standard apps consistently throughout the unit.- Hang the living room TV (minimum 65") above the fireplace.

Location Main Attribute
Good price for ski/in/out with group. Unit shows wear with original everything. Oven fan sounds like the garage disposal when turned on and heats to 25 degrees below selected temperature but baked ok. Pans are old and one handle just separated. Pancake griddle is so bent you can’t make a round pancake. Our group of 5 only had 7 towel sets for 6 nights. No bedding for the sleeper sofa ( blankets & pillows only ). We even purchased some cheap larger glasses for our use...your welcome. Great instant hot water and plenty of water pressure.
No plastic storage containers for leftovers, no cutting board.
Good: Great location, good value, good layout, ski in, close to downtown, management is excellent with great communication
Needs Improvement: Advertised as 2.5 baths but one room only has a sink in it (really is 2.25 baths), Beds are not that comfortable, Decor, carpet, appliances are outdated, baths need to be redone with new caulk and remove any old moldy caulk.
I'd like to buy this unit, update the decor, colors, appliances and take out the carpet and install some great luxury vinyl planking so guests do not have to worry as well as helping to keep clean. I'd add a little bigger TV for the living room size and add very comfortable beds. I'd also try and find a way to add a toilet in the 2nd bedroom so I can really say 2.5 baths.
Overall, I would recommend this unit and give this unit 4/5 stars despite some improvement areas!

Although the unit is well located it needs to be refurbished.
the unit right below has the same area but the spaces are nicer.
This one looks a old and has several issues to be fixed.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. Location was great, could see the Snowflake lift out the unit window. Hot tub was hot. Management was quick to respond to questions and issues. We arrived at night and departed early, getting keys was not an issue but at a location in town. Unit was hot, thermostat was replaced but it didn’t help, we didn’t have ability to turn down temp. Some maintenance needs to be done, kitchen countertop laminate was separating, wall had crack in master bedroom, shower ceiling showed signs of water damage, and other things. I’ve notified management of the issues so they can repair for next visitors. Parking wasn’t well communicated but we figured it out. It would be nice to have more than one parking pass for a 7 person unit, if you call they might have a 2nd.
Good room for a busy weekend, awesome location next to snowflake lift. Condo needs major renovation. Carpet, appliances, and furniture on their last leg.

We liked that the property had everything that we needed for our stay. The kitchen was nice and spacious. The fireplace was very cozy and we always had hot water. Also it was in walking distance to everything. The things that were not so pleasant was our neighbors upstairs you could hear everything and people who didn’t have a parking pass would park in our parking. So you would have no where to park at times. Other than that we were very pleased with our stay.

Poor Conditions
The previous reviews of this property are correct. The property is definitely outdated! The most disturbing is the first night we arrived at the property, my son was taking a shower a consistent stream of water was coming out of the ceiling. We contacted the owner who then directed us to contact the front desk, which we did. They sent a maintenance person to the condo and told us there was nothing they could do. Two days later the ceiling opened up and there was black mold showing. We then contacted VRBO which then redirected me back to the general manager Erin who did an outstanding job taking care of us after she found out about the situation. We were moved immediately. I would check to make sure the mold has been properly removed before booking this property.
Above everything, the location of this property in relation to the Snowflake lift and the 4'OClock run make it a perfect and true ski in/ski out property. Couldn't have been better for the entire family.
The property itself was tired and needs some very strong TLC to bring it up to snuff. However, the overall space and layout of the property was great for us , our 3 teenage boys, and an additional friend.
Parking for 2 vehicles was also easy without any excess hassle to get to the cars when needed.
All in all...it worked for our ski trip, and the location can't be beat.
Fantastic location for skiing Breck. Walk across the street for Snowflake lift, ski back to your condo door.
The unit itself is very spacious. The furnishings are a bit outdated and it needs new carpeting, but it was as clean as it could be for our stay.
Overall very pleased and would rent it again.
Property is situated to truly serve as ski in and ski out. We were easily able to go back to the condo in the middle of the day for lunch. We would definitely stay again.
Although the property is a little dated it served us well. Also it was a luxury to be so close to the lift. Like literally across the street! And you can ski directly to the parking lot! Which was wonderful after a full day. However only one parking spot for this rental is a challenge!
The listing showed exactly what you were getting and it was great! Right next to the snowflake lift and a true ski in ski out! Would gladly stay again!

Great location, needs some updating.
4* next to Four OClock Run and across the street from Snowflake Lift
Location is great. Views are great. Property needs updating but is fine for the brief time we were inside. Main bathroom shower does not work so there is only one shower. Both toilets function but have trouble clearing the bowl - (even with 3.5 gallons of water.). Some of the kitchen cabinet doors don't remain fully closed.
