My husband and I enjoyed the extremely quiet and secluded cabin. It had everything we needed and enjoyed walks in the morning through the area.

Gorgeous Retreat
My husband & I used the cabin for a couples getaway. We loved the hiking in the area, visiting CO Springs and just chillin' at the cabin.
We just wanted a place where we wouldn't have to talk to or see anyone. This was that place. We had a nice time just destressing from life and enjoying the woods. Breckenridge and neighboring towns provided a lot of nice things to do as well.
This cabin was the perfect winter getaway with our family of four (incl 14yo and 18yo) after the holidays. It was beautiful and relaxing. A nice way to reconnect and decompress. Just lovely.
We loved the house and our stay. It was a beautiful time of year and the house was perfect!
I would suggest putting a thermometer outside a door or window; while our phones could tell us the weather in Como, it would be nice to know the temperature at the house!
It was so difficult to leave. We enjoyed our stay immensely! The cabin is remote and serene. The view is amazing and the wildlife is everywhere. We really appreciated the bird seed to fill the balcony feeder.
We had a fun, relaxing stay at this fun cabin! Overall it’s clean and well taken care of. The pillows on the couches could use a wash or replacement. They’re falling apart and dingy. We did have ant and cricket visitors in the bathroom and kitchen which isn’t a huge deal to us but just be aware. The location is great- close enough to Breckenridge and Lake Dillon but far enough away that we saw very few people.
We enjoyed our time at this cabin! It was clean and well cared for. We had an issue with the code to enter the house initially but Courtney answered our call right away and got us taken care of! Our only comment/complaint was the lack of quality cooking pots/pans; especially for it being so rural we would’ve liked to cook a bit more. I would also note- to get to the property you drive on a dirt/gravel road for a solid 15 minutes that isn’t maintained the best so can get quite bumpy. Overall we had a great time though and really appreciated the host’s responsiveness and cleanliness of the cabin.

Honeymoon retreat
My wide and I stayed at the cabin for our honeymoon. It has dumped quite a bit of snow that day we checked in. The cabin was nice and warm coming from -3° outside. We quickly started a fire in the potbelly stove and cozied up on the couch. The place was so quite and the amenities were so thoughtfully supplied. We had brought food and there were cooking utensils to prepare it with. It was like staying at a family members home. Beautifully kept and clean. We spent most of our time snuggled up watching the animals pass by while we played boardgames and snacked. It was the solitude we needed. In the morning and at sunset are the 2 best times to look out the windows. The pinks and reds pouring through the snow covered trees looked like crystals and made beautiful light prisms that shun through the windows. We have missed the cabin since we left. Would book again 100%.
Loved the cabin and location. It was perfect for our stay in the mountains. We were close to all that we wanted to do, and very comfortable in our happy cabin getaway. My favorite thing was waking up to the blue mountain view every
morning.
Great cabin! Loved it, and would definitely rent again!
Great jumping off point for local hiking :) Cozy cabin.

Perfect Solo Personal Retreat!!!
My time at Cabin in the Aspens was perfect for my little personal retreat away from the family! (#SelfCare!!) The house was cozy and perfect. I absolutely loved all the windows that allowed natural light in all day!! This little mountain community is perfect, and because the forest isn't very dense, the stars were absolutely phenomenal at night!! I can't wait to make this trip my own personal annual tradition!!
The only thing that surprised me was the unpaved roads once you got off Hwy 285. (Don't wash your car before the trip - no point! Ha!) They weren't fully gravel roads, just not paved like a hwy.
A few other positives:
* there's a humidifier by the bed upstairs; it was very helpful for the dry air
* ice trays in the freezer so you can take your leftovers home without stopping to get ice on the way home (bring some ziplocs)
* no need to bring coffee filters (didn't see it listed, so I bought some but there were already plenty)
* great hosts!! Thank you!!
We loved our time at the Cabin in the Aspens! It was the perfect location with a gorgeous view of the mountains. The cabin has a modern/rustic feel and was very cozy. We would highly recommend to anyone who wants a refreshing getaway in the mountains. Also- we worked from the cabin a few days and the WiFi worked great! We loved this place!
