Cozy Condo

Awesome property and location

We stayed for 5 nights during our Christmas vacation. The condo was perfect for our family of four. We have two boys 9 and 6 and we loved being so close to everything in town. The condo was perfect for us to relax after long days of skiing and sledding with the kids. I would highly recommend the Los Pinos condos.

Excellent stay

The condo was just as advertised: clean, well-equipped, and comfortable for the four of us. The location is close to downtown Breckenridge (5 minute drive, 15 minute walk). The garage was an added convenience, though it was a tight fit for our rental SUV, it worked fine. Being coffee lovers, we particularly liked having both a single-serve Keurig and a 12-cup drip coffee maker. The property manager was responsive, and was even able to accommodate our request for an early check-in. Wish we could have stayed longer and used the hot tubs and pool.

Breckenridge Breakaway

Breckenridge does not disappoint! This condo was set up for the perfect getaway! Having a full double bunk bed (top & bottom) is Nothing short of Genius! Good Feature! Kitchen fully equipped and spacious for our family of 4 Adults and 2 kids! No Regrets! Proximity to town and a reservoir within walking distance in either direction worked out well, even though parking in town or @ the reservoir was available! Just saying there is a coffee pot, there is a Keurig & I really believe having coffee available for at least the first day is not toooo much to ask for as the rental fees could easily address $10. Cost!

Wonderful Retreat

We sure enjoyed this place! Once we figured out the bus schedule around town we didn't have to drive and just caught the bus right out front. The place is clean and perfect for our family of four with two kids ages 11 and 14. The bunk beds were wonderful! Getting used to no air conditioning took a couple of days but we finally learned that putting the box fan (provided in a closet) in a window quickly cooled the condo down. We ran the fan at night in our bedroom and were able to keep it at 68 degrees which is great sleeping weather. Our only complaint was the garage door code. We tried and tried to get it to open to no avail. We needed to park two cars there for one evening and were forced to go park in public parking and walk back to the condo (up hill after a long day). Called the property manager and she was not helpful and told us to park elsewhere. I expected someone to come help us open it. Other than that it was a pleasant experience. Would recommend, especially if only need one parking spot.

Spring visit to Breckenridge

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: To begin with we rented a unit at Los Pinos and were moved to a different building and condo due to roof replacement. After finding what we thought was a perfect place, we were disappointed. The "new" condo had a very nice kitchen, but our 2 BR unit meant one of us had to sleep on a bunk (not what ordered). Then the radiant floor heat was difficult to tune down even though we opened the doors/windows. Lastly, our parking spot was always taken when we came back and found a spot at another building. On the last eve before departure, our car was towed. Apparently, owners for that "spot" called a towing company after 1 am in the morning. The Breckenridge managers found the car and gave us a ride to the impound lot which was appreciated.Nick from the office was also responsive to our requests when minor things needed attention. Perhaps a card to put in a car window might have helped.

Great location but dark and a little dingy

Loved the location and the sleep number bed in the primary. The unit however is very dark and a little dingy. A few things not working (faucet, appliances), cheap and uncomfortable couch, and overall a little dingy and in need of a good deep clean and new carpet. Love this location but wouldn't seek out staying here again.

Nice location and amenities close by

We'd enjoyed our time at this condo. It was a short walk to the Snowflake lift which was nice. We could either walk to downtown in about 15 minutes or it was a short car ride where it was easy to find public parking.The two rooms worked will for my family of four. The queen size beds were great for my teenagers. It was nice to have the heated garage with ski racks.The king bed is a sleep number and we didn't know how to "air" it up the first night so it was very flat. But we figured it out and it was comfortable the rest of the time. I suggest that instructions be added to the bedside.The reason I selected 4 stars was that there were some broken appliances...toaster (left side burns toast), keurig didn't work at all, and the kitchen sink faucet didn't work. We were able to use the spigot to the right of the sink. They replied quickly and said these issues would be addressed.Overall we had a nice time and love Breckenridge!

Fantastic ski lodging

Our family of four (two of whom are teens) loved this property. Easy lift access, convenient location, well appointed kitchen. It had everything we needed and made our time enjoyable. We’d come back!

Reviewer Comments: My 6 year old son found a vape left behind and we had no idea he had been playing with it until we were cleaning up to leave. The balcony was filthy from the floor, rails, table and chairs. Not to mention cigarette butts in a pail by the chair. I communicated my concerns, especially about a vape being let behind and all I got was an apology. I though we would get some kind of reimbursement, but when I questions I did not hear back. I would look somewhere else with better Mountain View's and a pool that is on site.

Great Property in a great spot

Beautiful condo close to slopes

We enjoyed the clean, beautiful condo and it’s proximity to the spa and Snowflake chair lift. The condo had everything we needed and it was all in excellent condition. We also enjoyed the short 10-15 minute walk to Main Street. We had a wonderful time and would love to stay here again.

The garage and driveway spot are added bonuses for this property and you're a very close drive to Main Street for the Apres Ski scene. Loved the spacious bedrooms to accommodate a small family, full kitchen, balconies and gas fireplace. Would love to own a vacation home ourselves like this one day.

Nice ski condo

We enjoyed our stay at Los Pinos and the management was very communicative. We happened to be there during a winter storm so the walk to the ski lift was brutal, especially after skiing going uphill. In normal temperatures the town is very walkable, but if it’s below 10 degrees having a rental car is a must. Also, rent skis from the place at the base of snowflake lift. They will store them for free overnight and then you don’t have to carry gear half a mile uphill. The management company recommended a rental company in town which wasn’t really convenient for this particular rental. All in all we had a nice trip and definitely want to revisit Breckenridge-maybe in February of March next time for temperature purposes :)
