Nestled amidst tropical palms on a serene mid-island street, The Lazy Place is a charming 3 bed, 3 bath home that comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests. Step inside through the sunlit porch to discover a spacious living area adorned with ample cozy seating. The sleek, beautifully renovated kitchen features stainless steel appliances, ceramic tile backsplash, quartz countertops with a breakfast bar, and a separate dining area. The master bedroom, adorned with a plush king bed, offers an ensuite bath with a walk-in shower, while the second bedroom also provides a king bed with a nearby guest bath equipped with a tub/shower combo. Each bedroom comes complete with its own television for your entertainment needs. Downstairs features a private room with a daybed and guest bathroom with walk-in shower. Outside, indulge in the private pool or rinse off sandy feet in the outdoor shower after a day at the beach. Next to the pool is a covered lanai with a TV, which is perfect for afternoons to relax in the shade while kids play in the pool. The Lazy Place creates an idyllic backdrop for crafting cherished vacation memories, promising an unforgettable stay you'll be reluctant to end.

Welcome to Fort Myers Beach! There are multiple state parks nearby that are waiting for your adventures. Jump on the trolley to take you south to the secluded Lover's Key State Park or go north to Bowditch Point Park. The Fish Tale Marina offers boat rentals and dockage for those wanting to get out on the water. Travel around the island in style in a rented Moke or golf cart. Trolley service is also available from Estero Boulevard to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach. Several restaurants, shops, and bars have come back since the hurricane. If a day trip is what you are looking for check out the Key West Express for an unforgettable trip to Key West. Don’t forget to see Sanibel Lighthouse which is less than 15 miles away! Please note that the area is currently rebuilding after Hurricane Ian. We really enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the pool and lanai, and the open floor plan connecting the kitchen, dining, and living areas was perfect. We stayed with friends, and the space made it easy and enjoyable to spend time together. 3 Bathrooms was a plus!

Lovely place to stay with family. Spacious, close to the beach and clean. Rental company was helpful and responsive for all questions. Pool was a huge hit with the kids. Recommend staying at this house for your vacation.

Spring break 2024

Came down for my kids spring break from school. The house is great for a family being close to the beach and having a pool. Very close to the grocery. No waiting in traffic for that. Still quite a bit of work going on to get the island back in order following hurricane Ian. We were happy to spend some time and money to help bring the island back to what it was. Will definitely check availability next time we visit FMB.

I did not like it

The floors were dirty, the glass of the dining room table was dirty, as if they had cleaned it with a greasy cloth. Forks, spoons, pans and pots with food remains, my wife washed everything before using it. For two nights we slept very badly because the mattress sagged in the middle, my son looked at the bed and the middle support was not in place. The ceiling fans were working on the wrong side, we also fixed them, the downstairs room if you want to sleep with the fan, the The light stays on, because they connected directly, (not very smart). The sofa bed did not have sheets, we had to buy them. We did not find cleaning products, nor brooms, or floor cleaner. We did not use the pool because the light was floating in the water. The entire pool area, the floors and the lounge chairs were with red ants, the first night we sat in that area we felt like they were biting us and we thought they were mosquitoes, we have very white skin, we still have the bump , with an extra thousand dollars I could vacation for a week in Myrtle Beach SC, in a condo on the beach. I forgot to say that the neighbor next door, on Sunday at 7 am, started cutting the grass ,(can you imagine?)No kind of consideration. I really expected something much better in this property, for the money we paid.
