The location is great, but the cleanliness was poor. And it was not just a one-time thing, there was dust under the bed, which showed that no one ever cleaned it there for months. Dirty bedsheet, fridge wasn't clean as well, dead insects, lost items from previous tenant (e.g. earrings), hair in bathroom, garbage in the dustbin, a lot of sand on the furniture, plenty of crumbs in the kitchen cabinets and in one room it smelled like vomit. We didn't use the kitchen and only ate outside. Although the location is great (walking distance to the lovely beach) I cannot give more than 2 stars, because of the poor cleanliness.

Lovely location, Unit needs deep clean and maintenance
Fantastic location. Nice unit, aesthetically pretty. But it needs a deep clean. Really filthy toilet brush in main bathroom like so gross, calcium build up in the showers and show heads, dirty cups, broken outdoor chairs (they looked fine but when you touch the arms of the chairs they came off because the nails have worn and corroded overtime), dryer didn't work, the basin in the main bathroom is so old and it has also corraded and if you touch or lean on it it falls/tips over as it's no longer fixed to the vanity. All these problems are long standing maintenance issues they haven't just happened, sheets were clean but well worn. I raised these issues with the managing agent by email on my departure and I also went into the office the day after we arrived and was told not a lot could be done over a weekend. The agent did raise it with the owner who said we should have raised it as soon as we arrived! But like I said to the agent it's clear that these are long standing maintenance problems which saids that the owner doesn't want to spend the money to do basic maintenance and upkeep but is happy for you to pay a $500 bond.... I wasn't looking for a refund/credit I just wont stay there again. The managing agent The Professionals Jurien Bay were very professional to deal with and excellent with their communication but no power over fixing the problems.
