From the moment you walk through the door, you should find a sparkling clean home with generous amenities and beach gear for a true “welcome home” experience. If you need assistance, our team is quick to respond to your needs. We are proud of our deep roots in the Destin area having provided hospitality since 1976.

Sandy Toes is located in a private gated community, just off Scenic Gulf Drive in Miramar Beach. This is a popular vacation area due to easy beach access and restaurants within walking distance. The community has a 3,000 sq ft community pool and a fitness center.

Upon entry into Sandy Toes, you are greeted by a nice foyer with stairs leading up to the second floor living area. This living area is an open concept design where everyone can gather around the 65" smart TV with DVD player & large collection of DVDs. There is a brand new sleeper sofa sofa to accommodate two guests. The bistro style dining area seats six. The updated kitchen features stainless steel appliances and Silverstone countertops. A hallway half bathroom is located off this living area. A second floor balcony with seating for 4 is located overlooking the community.

A king bedroom suite can be found on the second floor. This large private bedroom features a 50" Smart TV with cable and private ensuite bathroom with a soaking tub, a shower, and a double sink perfect sanctuary to relax and rejuvenate.

A new 2-player Cocktail Arcade Game System with 412 games including Pac-Man, Galaga, Donkey Kong, and Space Invaders provides fun for the entire family. There are three bedrooms located on the first floor. The first bedroom features a queen bed and 42" TV. This room shares a large bathroom with the bunk room, with two separate bunk sets with twin-over-twin beds and a 31" cable tv. There is also a king suite with 42" Smart TV, as well as its own private bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

You can bask in the Florida sunshine and salt air on the balcony. A gated beach access nearby allows you to have your toes in the sand in just minutes. Tents and canopies are not allowed on this beach.

This home is pet-friendly, with a $300 (plus tax) non-refundable pet fee that covers up to two adult, non-aggressive breeds, each weighing 25 pounds or less.

Seasonal beach service runs March 1st - October 31st and includes 2 beach chairs and 1 umbrella.

The community pool is heated Thanksgiving Week, and then Christmas through Spring Break.

Free parking is provided for 2 vehicles. Golf Carts are not allowed in this community. The HOA provides extra parking spaces (when available) for vehicles at a cost of $10 per day for reservations made at least 2 weeks in advance (an additional $5 per day is charged as a late fee for reservations made less than 2 weeks in advance). Guests should reserve any extra parking spaces needed as soon as their booking is confirmed.

Comfortable Cottage

The Beach Retreat cottage was perfect for our family of 11. The location is perfect with an easy stroll to the beach. The privacy on Cottage Row is great. We also enjoyed the pool even a shorter walk from the house. The management group was so helpful and communicated before our trip. We will be back!

We came with our whole family including 6 adults and 5 grandkids ages 5 and under. Each couple had their own room with their own bathroom. The bunk room was awesome for the kids! The kitchen was well equipped and they had plenty of chairs, toys, boogie boards and things for the kids to enjoy at the beach! Beautiful pool area as well! We were within walking distance of 3 different restaurants which we truly enjoyed. We loved it and will definitely be back!

I never wanted to leave...

This property is beautiful. Well kempt, comfortable, and clean. A very short walk to the beach made the trip even more enjoyable. The rental price was a bit steep with deposits and cleaning fees but it's a newly acquired house for the owners and I understand they need to make a profit. Overall, I'd recommend and will likely be back in the future (especially if I can catch a deal lol).

Great location and beautiful home

This home is beautiful. Everything was so clean and spacious. The living room being upstairs was a little odd but it worked out fine. We had a problem with the garbage disposal but maintance was there to fix it within an hour! The beds were very comfortable! It even came with a portable box fan in the closet which saved me money from having to go buy one! It also had a high chair ehich helped as we had an 8 month old baby with us. Thank you so much for sharing your home!

For the most part, the house is updated and clean. The grout in the master bathroom needs to be cleaned or updated. You can tell they did want they can to update the house, but the appliances and bathrooms are old and need to be replaced. Packing tips - They do give you what you need to start with - dishwasher soap, laundry soap, etc to get you through the first few days. One thing I thought was really strange was there was no salt, pepper or any spices. Also, there is no plastic containers to put in leftovers. So, I would recommend to pack that if you plan on cooking. Overall, we were happy with the house.

The kitchen wasn't very functional, but it was stocked. I am glad I brought hand soap because there was only bar soap provided. The beds weren't very comfortable and the bedding was cheap and the mattress covers were thin and kept coming off the corners of the mattress. But the location was great, access to beach was great. Two chairs and an umbrella was provided. It was nice that they provided beach towels. Can't really complain about much! It was quiet and a nice neighborhood. Would stay again. Wish I would have known I had to use a checking account to make our second payment before. It worked out, but it was a little complicated at first.

Reviewer Comments: After not being able to travel with the family for the past 2 pandemic years, I decided to rent this property for our entire family for a relaxing vacation. This property did not disappoint, and the pictures were spot on. Let's start with the Pros; Very close to the beach and pool with just a short walk. Very spacious for alot of family fun, the balcony was my morning spot for coffee and discussion. The area was very quiet and everyone was very friendly. There was plenty of pots and pans dishes for us to make any meal of our choosing. Now for the Cons: We noticed there were a couple of toilets that constantly ran, I placed a call to management and they were Johnny on the spot with the repairs. I still noticed a day later that one of the toilets was still acting up but honestly forgot to give them a call to fix. If I had to pick one thing that was very disappointing, that would be the bunk beds on the main floor. They sagged like they were about to collapse, and they also made a very loud noise when the kids tossed and turned in their sleep. Other than that It was a very great stay.
