Great home, great experience
We really enjoyed the home, comfortable and exactly what we were looking for. Great location and fun to see the wild horses and elk roaming the neighborhood. Highly recommend. Thanks.
This home was perfect for my family and I! The house was very spacious, and located in a great neighborhood. The backyard was private and secure for our pets. Check-in was a breeze and the house rules were reasonable and easy to follow.
We absolutely LOVED the property. They have everything you can think of. We forgot a couple of things (toiletries) and we didn't have to run to the store. Everything
5 stars. The place was located close to town. The home was nice and the check in and check out was easy. Ruidoso is a nice little town with shopping and Casino. Thank you

Great House For Pets
The Rustic Ranch Retreat house was great and clean. We brought our dogs and the completely fenced in backyard made life a lot easier. House is conveniently located and makes most places in town easily accessible. This will be our first choice for a rental for any future trips.
3 quilters go away for a fun weekend of sewing. Blew a fuse the first night there. Owner responded promptly and went above and beyond to make our stay great. School is on other side of back fence. School was out during our stay so it was nice and quiet.

Perfect Stay!
The location was perfect and they allowed pets, which was everything we were looking for. We booked this cabin for a baseball tournament and it was right across the street from the fields our son played at. The rental was perfect and the back yard is huge, which our dog loved!!!! Clean, spacious, the Wi-Fi was great, and the views were so relaxing. The property contact was so nice and even called a few times once we left for a few minor things that were left behind. Definitely going to be booking again. Highly Recommend!!!
We loved it. You can see that it's an older home, but we enjoyed the stay. My granddaughters loved the bay windows just to sit and watch the elk. My little dog just stared at them never barked at them. We rolled the blue carpet in front of the fireplace because it was dirty and didn't want the girls walking on it. The girls enjoyed the fireplace to. We had a good time and relaxing for us, just to get away for a few days.
It was a very nice stay. We had plenty of room and enjoyed all the TV’s whee we n we were there. The kitchen had everything we needed. We really loved all the deer and elk.
Be far the best place we have stayed at out of our many trips to Ruidoso

The photos don’t do this property justice, it far exceeded our expectations! Private back yard was a big plus. Everything you could need to make yourself at home was provided. Great views of the mountain peaks from back yard. Quick commute to Walmart and downtown Ruidoso shopping areas. Great place to relax after a long day of skiing, sipping hot chocolate in front of the fireplace waltching movies on the big flat screen. Highly recommend this place for a family vacation!
Renting this home was extremely easy. It was in a great location, near the library and walking trails. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. The yard was perfect for the dogs. Seeing the wildlife was awesome and watching the wild horses travel among the people was a treat.
The good - you get a lot of square footage for the price. It's a nice, clean, cute house and a good location. Elk graze in a nearby field almost nightly, and I saw deer and a variety of birds in the yard several times. Plenty of cooking supplies, including spices.
The bad - all the beds are super firm. If I hadn't gone on 5 hour hikes every day (thus making me exhausted) I'm not sure I would have been able to sleep. Even my gf who prefers hard beds said it was too hard. And the main couch in the living room has got to go. It's about 10 years past its lifespan.
Overall 4 stars.
