Everyone of us , 11 couples , some kids and teenagers enjoyed and were all satisfied with our stay . Very clean cabins . Enough space for everyone. We rented the big cabin and the 3 bedroom one... We will be back next year! From Fort Worth , Texas

The picture of the stairs going down to the pond sold me on this house. Disappointingly, it’s on the other side of the house next door in their backyard. GPS took us to a different house originally, luckily house manager was easy to get in contact with. Getting into the house was easy and lights were on waiting for us. Unfortunately, the fridge was far from cold, we began hearing a dripping, the freezer began leaking water leaving a puddle on the floor. Ice came out with specs of something mysterious. There were mouse droppings in a shower and in multiple kitchen cupboards. The hot tub smelt like mildew. After coming back from our day at the lake, a dead mouse waited for us on the stairs. Also, was curious where the 6 twin beds were like the profile shares. Overall, we enjoyed our weekend and made the best of it but this was definitely the worst experience with a rental.:
The interior pics matched listing, exterior did not. Address of house was different than original. Hot Cheetos found under table runner, all the complimentary chips were expired, earring found in hot tub, the ice maker in the (cobweb covered) outdoor kitchen was frozen up (we had to defrost it), hair in drain in master and hair on shower wall, pool table is broken and the room it is in—it’s impossible to take shots because you hit a window or a bed or a wall or the stairwell…and more but that’s what I can remember off the top of my head. Basically needs a new cleaning service and pool table. We still had a good time!

5th time in Broken Bow for 2022
This is the first cabin we have ever stayed in that wasn’t good. Hot tub smelt like sour water and urine. Fridge stunk of rotten fish. I had to take shelves and drawers out to try and clean cause we have fish allergies. It didn’t help, every time the fridge was opened it stunk up cabin like fish. Had lightning that was out. Cobwebs in living room. Hair was in the master shower drain.
Definitely wouldn’t rent this place again.
Lovely cabin, only small complaint is the listing makes it look like there is pond access with deck/peir, but those were connected to other properties. You can walk down the hill to the pond but there is no peir/deck to stand on from this property. Also the roads leading to the cabin are terrible. The cabin itself was perfect though. We had a great time.
The property was perfectly fine. Some of the pictures online are of a neighboring property, but the description was accurate. The only negative about the property is the house sleeps 8 and there was a 1-cup coffee maker.
The REAL problem with this property is it's managed by Broken Bow Adventures. I was charge an additional almost $200 that I knew nothing about from them in addition to the charges I knew would be charged from VRBO. I called VRBO and they said I shouldn't be charged anything additional, so I called the manager to ask about the additional fees. And the man was SO UGLY. He screamed at me and hung up on me. I regret booking this cabin and having to deal with that man.
There were complications with my charge two weeks prior to our stay, so I emailed the managers email provided and received no response. Then, upon arrival of the cabin; we were understandably shocked/confused to why our cabin was NOT the cabin in the pictures. We immediately called the exact same manager (after trying to reach him multiple times without success); whom told me to "SHUT UP", said I got into a cabin so there was no big deal, and then HUNG UP ON ME!! Our cabin was MUCH small than the one in the pictures. In fact, said cabin is a neighbors cabin. Worst experience ever.
Loved the cabin and the location of it. I would recommend driving an SUV or a car higher off the ground if you choose to rent here. Our smaller car had issues getting up with the potholes and it being wet due to rain. We had a great time and will definitely be back.
Emails to property manager not answered, had to call and get everything situated before we headed down.
The cabin was nice... Loved that each bedroom had it's own bathroom. Also, the bunk beds downstairs were nice for the kids, and they had their own outside deck. The kitchen was nice and roomy with a large, nice eating area. The hot tub was a nice feature and the fire pit was also a plus.
This home was beautiful, location and setting where perfect!
