So if you want to avoid that part, yes a garage could be helpful, however it always requires some shoveling and challenging procedures in a town on the mountains. Hi Joanne, We appreciate the time it took to write a review about this property. Unfortunately, you felt this property was similar to a place you would stay in college with loads of friends. This condo is undoubtedly not that and so much more than a crash pad. Chamonix #94 is a large two bedroom + loft condo with three floors and sleeps, nine people. Typically groups and families rent this place for the apparent reason that it sleeps so many. As for the cleaning, we will address this with our housekeeping supervisor. This review does not reflect this property and is referencing another property that the guest booked. I want to first note that construction at the other unit was advertised upon booking and you were fully aware of construction when you reserved this unit. If the city inspector truly told you it was unsafe, they should have also reached out to the owners and property managers informing them of the situation. It is hard to imagine that the foreman and city inspector would allow the doors to be closed if it was confirmed as an 'explosive situation'. While trying to help you through this situation and move you to another unit we did disclose that the only available unit was not comparable, however it did not have construction taking place, which was the main concern. I apologize for the burners not working, this is an easy fix and if it was brought to our attention maintenance could have gone out to fix it. This review is inaccurate as we have been very empathetic, providing assistance in your dispute to get your money back and communicating with you till this day. As we have discussed and mutually agreed, your grievance is really with the homeowners association of this property who scheduled work at this complex during the Summer and provided no limitations on visitors being in units. We did everything we had could to turn around your visit and provide alternate accommodations to make it more comfortable for you, even when it was not our responsibility to do so.
