House is well equipped to cater for a family group. Very well located, lots of activities to do in the neighbourhood. The fireplace was very handy.
Please take drinking water as water is from a rain tank and also note access to the room below is from outside only.
Bush track to the beach(front left-hand side) is so beautiful and adventurous but be watchful for snakes.
Thank you so much Rudy, we will definitely be back :-)

The house was clean, very easy for parking. We found out the internet there is very poor, no mobile signal and the Wi-Fi there is useless. The bedrooms upstairs have no quilt only have some blankets lucky it’s not so cold in April. There’s no hair dryer you need to bring your own. And be careful the neighbor next door is racism.
House was better than expected, being both clean and comfortable and in a great area. Only downside was the wifi barely worked

We appreciate your comments and acknowledgement we have made significant upgrades for a better experience. Great to hear you enjoyed it so much! I note the Wi-Fi has limited data. There can be network issues at time but alternatively you can hotspot if your plan is with a different carrier. I hope this helps for next time. Best wishes
Such a lovely and fairly remote location. A spacious home for a big family and the open fire was nice... make sure you take what you need though as the shops are a bit of drive

Hi Adam, many thanks for your feedback. Its really appreciated! I note that Tarwin Lower is only 15 minutes away and has all the amenities including IGA, Mitre 10, Post Office, service station, cafe and hotel. It's on the way to Walkerville when coming from Melbourne. Cheers

feedback on improvements
Here is some feedback on the more practical areas for improvement of the house. I have not minced things on some comments but I'm sure you will appreciate the feedback.
The entire house inside and out is infested with spider webs and could easily be wiped over with a broom.
Severe hazard on the driveway. If you drive in forward when reversing out your car will be half way across the road before it is possible to see approaching traffic.
Another hazard is the oven door - the glass separates from the door when you open it.
The slotted wooden spoon handle was loose/wobbly and broke when we used it. Not a big issue but letting you know.
The vacuuming was marginal - especially at the entrances and so not as welcoming as one would like.

Hi Greg, many thanks for your feedback. It is really appreciated. I note we do regularly clean for spider webs however we are challenged with the property surrounded by nature. In reference to the driveway, we can not eliminate native trees but you can actually turn the car around within the property for a safer exit. We will get the oven door fixed as this has not happened before. In reference to the cleaning I will let the cleaner know but must note we inspected the cleaning ourselves prior to you coming in so it may have been us!! Sorry for that....
Nice, simple old style beach house which had plenty of room for 6 of us. 25 minute drive to Wilsons Prom so is a good base for day trips. The place was well equiped for cooking and we loved the cosy fire place, which made it relaxing too, would definitely visit again! Rudy is very responsive and very helpful.
Unfortunately we were only able to stay for 2 nights, but the family enjoyed the stay here. The fireplace was very nice, birds visiting and free wifi. Thank you for the stay.
House is well equiped to cater for large group. Very well located, lots of activities to do in the neighbourhood. Fire place was very handy for unexpected cooler nights. Kitchen has lots of utensils and appliances.
Just a note, the drinking water is from a rain tank, but those filter jars (which is provided in the house) will do the job. Thank you so much for the stay, we will definitely be back :-)
The property is a very nice self contained house. Have a separate living area, specially suitable for two families. Good location. The owner is very helpful and responses promptly. Overall this is a very nice holiday stay in Walkerville. Would recommend it.
