Choose to watch the sunrise or sunset or both from this 1950's "soldier settlement farmhouse " . the home sits in solitude a few minutes drive above the Great Ocean Road and all it has to offer.

With a short 5 minute drive to Gibson Steps, Loch Ard Gorge & the 12 Apostle visitor center the location is close to the most beautiful places along the Great Ocean Road yet when you are at the cottage you are in the middle of nowhere.

If you are looking for peace, quiet, perfect vistas (a view from every room), stargazing, patchwork views across dairy farmland, wedge tail eagles and blue finches to keep you company Asmara @ 12 Apostles is your perfect choice.

Surfing at Gibson Steps, Port Campbell & many more locations.

Cycle or hike the trail from Port Campbell to Camperdown.

Hike the Great Ocean Road trail.

Head to the beautiful Otways to explore the many hiking trails waterfalls picnic areas and California Redwoods.

We are also close to the Gellibrand River for swimming, canoeing. fishing, Port Campbell beach with life saving club (perfect kids beach with sand and lawns, public bbq's and picnic tables) surfing & fishing of the pier.

We are smack bang on the Gourmet food trail all within driving distance to Timboon Ice Cream, GOR Chocolates (and Alpaca farm), Schultz Organic dairy, Timboon Railway Shed Distillery & Apostle Whey Cheese (they also make their own Gelatto) .

The cottage is suitable for those wanting a romantic getawayor for a relaxing family stay.
