Modern 3 bedroom home with open plan living/dining/kitchen looking out to stunning views of the mountain.

Situated on the edge of town in a semi-rural setting, you'll have space to enjoy across the 1-acre section and a quiet neighbourhood to relax in.

A short 15 mins walk to the Ohakune township along the stream and bush or a quick 1 minute drive.

With a fireplace, heatpump and heat transfer system, you'll be cosy and warm all night.

All beds have quality bed linen and high-end comfortable mattresses.

There is a large deck to enjoy with mountain views plus all the amenities you'll need - washer/dryer, dishwasher, games, puzzles, drying room, outdoor spa pool and of course a Nespresso coffee machine!

Stocked with pantry essentials, there's everything you'll need to make a delicious meal for 8 and with cafe quality coffee, the kitchen will feel just like home.

Fall into the comfy feather filled sofas after a day of adventure and watch the last of the sun fade on the snow-capped mountain.

With bi-folding doors, you can open up to the expansive decking and views out to Mount Ruapehu giving you a seamless indoor outdoor flow.

The latest smart TV with built in Chromecast allows you to stream your device or use the Netflix, Disney or Neon accounts available to guests.

For the winter ski season, there is a brand new large drying room in the garage with a dehumidifier and heater plus racks and plenty of hanging space. Pop all your wet gear in overnight and it'll be warm and dry ready for you to hit the slopes again.

Located on the edge of town, the property has an acre of land for the family to roam and enjoy. The uninterrupted views surrounding the home are unbelievably peaceful but still within walking distance to the town centre and local restaurants.

Very lovely home, with great outlook.. Fantastic location. You feel like are away from it all but very easy walk into town. Loved being able to bring our dogs whom loved the huge field we could throw a ball in.

Rest and relaxation

My partner and I spend a long weekend here to switch off from our hectic schedules and get some much needed rest. This place is a very special place with all the little touches which make it feel like home. The weather was cold and stormy and it was just perfect with the fire going and to enjoying the spa pool. We will definitely be back soon and with a bunch of friends too!

Just too fabulous!

Where to start. This property is exceptional. There is a stunning view out the back to the mountains and the neighbourhood is relaxingly rural - not isolated but quiet and private too. Inside, the house is full of thoughtful details. From the art on the walls to the free Netflix and Disney+, the really well provisioned pantry, the lovely linen on the beds... I could go on. Well done to the owners who clearly know exactly what families need on holiday and being able to talk the canine family member was the icing on the cake. We had a great time and hope to be able to go back when we get a chance.

Peaceful oasis with amazing views

Loved the style of this property and all the little touches the owners had put in - like being able to ask Alexa the WiFi password. The house is beautifully appointees with all you need. We hardly left as it was so lovely to sit on the deck and gaze at the mountain. The perfect break in the perfect property.

Awesome holiday home

We had such a wonderful girls weekend away. The house is warm, confortable with all the mod cons, amazing views of the mountain and spa. Loved the drying room for our ski gear too. Jo is a great host. Would definitely stay here again and bring the family.

Fantastic property to stay at. Was perfect for our group of adults/teenagers. Spa was perfect after a day snowboarding. The drying room was superb in getting our gear dried for the next day. Highly recommended.

Comfortable bach with everything you need

Lovely comfortable bach in a beautiful setting. It’s close to the township but still feels like you’re in the countryside. The property had everything you need and we were so lucky to be able to take our dogs with us. I’d certainly recommend it and we’ll aim to go back at some point

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mountain Glass with a week set out, comfortable and very clean property. The house itself is spacious and warm with a stunning outlook. The spa was wonderful after a long day out and about exploring the region. We will be back for sure.
