This cabin was clean and well equipped for a multiple night stay. Check in was super easy, location was great for checking out all their is near and in rapid city.
We stayed at this cabin for 4 nights. It was so comfortable and such a great location! The lake and playground were a hit and kept us busy when we weren't out exploring all of the local attractions.

Thank you. We really do appreciate you staying with us. Scott
This was a great little cabin with a surprising amount of space! It's nicely decorated, very clean, and had everything we needed except an iron and ironing board. There's also no salt, pepper or basic spices, cooking oil, etc, so be sure to bring those items if you stay here and plan to cook. We had planned to try to cook dinner each night, but found out after day 1 that there was just so much to see and do that we were too tired to go back to the cabin and cook. With so many great restaurants options nearby, it was more convenient for us to dine out. The fridge and microwave did come in very handy though for drinks and heating up leftovers or microwave popcorn for a late snack! The water heater here was the real Rockstar, though. All four of us were able to get showers, one after the other, and nobody got stuck with a cold shower. The earliest night we were back at the cabin, we decided to go check out the walking trail/path that was just up the road, across Chapel Ln. We saw several deer, one with roughly 3 ft of me. The sounds of the quickly flowing creek over the little rapids was so relaxing and it's just a really beautiful area. We even saw a few trout hop out of the water. Overall, it was a really nice stay, and the lady at the camp/cabin office was super-sweet and helpful!

Hi Shawna: I am glad you had a good time. We do keep a number of items on hand that are available upon request, such as an iron and ironing board. I am sorry that was not pointed out to you. Scott
We enjoyed our stay. Nice and quiet area. We visited family and toured both state parks and had dinner at Fort Hayes which was recommended to us by the staff.
Was so glad we did this instead of a hotel. The cabin is next to two great outdoor areas and lakes, streams and only about 30 minutes to Rushmore. We had a couple things go wrong upon checking in with the hot water heater but it was quickly resolved by the owners and we had nothing but the best experience overall.
The staff were very nice and the check-in and checkout processes were quick and easy. The property itself was well-maintained and located in a great part of town near a small lake and a creek, both with walking paths all around them. It was quiet and peaceful all during my stay, even on the weekend. Our cottage itself was very clean and cozy and I loved the extra amenities with dishes, cookware, utensils, linens, towels, etc being provided. The bed was comfortable and after long days of hiking and driving to nearby attractions I never had an issue sleeping because of noise, discomfort or temperature. I really enjoyed my stay and I can't say enough good things about this property. If you're staying in Rapid City, this is the place to go!
This was a very nice place to stay! The kids loved the lake and access to walking trails along the river! The cabin was overall very clean. The only bad was it did have an odd smell and the ac unit in the cabin was not very clean.
Cozy and convenient. Just minutes from downtown Rapid City and has access to great walks around the greenbelt and lake. Very nice. Highly recommend this VRBO.
We absolutely had the best time at this resort. It was spacious, clean, and had the best location. We were able to see wildlife and it was absolutely peaceful and quiet. We will be back! Thank you!
