Thank you! Glad you enjoyed your stay. Will be happy to host you and your family again.
We stayed at this centrally located property to partake in the UNC graduation. The host left a special graduation gift for our daughter. We spent many relaxing hours in the cozy and beautiful solarium overlooking a stunning backyard full of trees.

Enjoyable Weekend
Our family enjoyed our stay in this home. The family room accommodated everyone comfortably as did the dining room. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. Our dogs thoroughly enjoyed the backyard which was very nice. The location was great for us because of the close proximity to campus. We had a very fun long weekend at this property.

It was a pleasure to have you stay in our home. We hope you will stay in our property again in the future. Thank you also for letting me know that you enjoyed using the Panasonic massage chair in our sunroom.
This was a great property! We arrived at midnight and had no trouble getting in. Lots of nice, clean space. Highlights were the backyard and the sunroom. Loved how all the drawers were labeled so we knew where to put things back. Joe was super helpful and we had everything we needed.

Thank you Kathy! Most of our guests have listed our sun room and backyard garden with the koi pond and grilling patio as their favorite places to enjoy with their families. We will be glad to host you and your family again.
We spent most of our time in the back viewing room. The home was full of unique collectibles and ethnic decor. We cooked most our meals in their fully equipped kitchen and even on the grill. This was a lovely property which made relaxing very easy. Our children loved the and garden with koi pond.

Thank you for the lovely feedback. Would be great to have you visit again!
We had a great stay at this property, it is neat and clean and well maintained, perfect for my family to gather while attending my daughter's wedding. It had everything we needed and really made us feel at home. There was one small issue with a smoke alarm chirping but I called the handyman contact given in the instructions and he came right over and took care of it, he couldn't have been nicer and made us comfortable we were in good hands. The location is great, the neighborhood is very nice and we would stay here again without hesitation, highly recommended!

Thanks to Joe for being a gracious host. I brought my family and friends back to Chapel Hill for the weekend and the accommodations were exactly what we needed. Plenty of space and the property is well kept. Proximity to the campus is great with ready access to the bus line and Uber. I would recommend for families and for friends. We look forward to our next trip back.
Thank you, Joe!

Chapel Hill Blue Visit
The house was very comfortable for a short 3 night stay. The kitchen was well stocked, I would suggest a larger coffee pot, the present one is only 5 small cups. The back sun room was a great place to relax. The Koi pond was interesting, but not appropriate to sit around as the chairs had not had the winter dirt cleaning. The location is very convenient to the Chapel Hill area.

Thank you. Glad you had a very comfortable stay. The coffee pot has been replaced with a larger one. New cushions have been placed on all outdoor chairs. We hope you will consider staying at our property again on your next visit.
The house is beautifully decorated. The fenced in back yard was especially nice for our family with a pet. The kitchen was well appointed and there were TV’s aplenty for us to spread out and relax at the end of the day. One thing to point out - there is not a main floor bedroom. That may have been in the description but I missed it, and since my husband and I both have mobility issues it was a bit of a challenge. Otherwise all was good!
Joe (the property host) was great! He gave us all of the information we needed and then some!
We would definitely stay in this property again.
Thanks Joe!

We do not recommend this property unless concerns are addressed.
The location of the property was accurate and it was quite close to Duke University, the University of North Carolina, and restaurants, thus making it very convenient to both Durham and Chapel Hill. Additionally, the exterior of the property was well maintained and the house is in a very nice neighborhood. However, the interior of the home needs to be thoroughly cleaned. Yes, it is vacuumed and dusted with the bathrooms wiped down, but the bathroom drawers, dresser drawers, refrigerator/freezer, and the glasses/dishes were not clean and there were personal items left in the drawers, such as a used toothbrush and toothpaste in the master bath, and perishable items left in the refrigerator as well as a broken shelf. The soap/shampoo racks in the master shower are rusted and the towels are quite used and limited. Additionally, the closets were locked so there was either no bedroom hanging space or cheap metal coat racks placed in already quite crowed bedrooms. The garage had quite a bad smell due to trash left in the trash can (we removed it), and it is also off limits for renters' usage. Television is unavailable and we could not make the existing system work for movie viewing. We did not pursue any assistance with our concerns as we did not have the time for that nor did we feel that we should have to deal with the many things that needed addressed during our limited family Christmas visit. Over the years we have stayed in several vacation rental properties throughout the USA and this property did not meet the standards set by other comparable properties. Unless these concerns are addressed we would not recommend this property.

Unfortunately, this guest never reported any issue during her stay. She acknowledges that the description of the property is accurate, its location is convenient to both Duke and UNC, the exterior is very well maintained and the neighborhood is very nice. We have a professional cleaning agency who does through cleaning of the interior. They also remove all used towels and bed sheets and launder them. The dishes and glasses are washed and dried in the kitchen dishwasher.
Some non-perishable food items and a bottle of champagne were left in the refrigerator for her use as she informed that she will arrive only by midnight. It is not possible to supply a family of 5 fresh towels every day for a week as no housekeeping service is offered but we have a washing machine and dryer which she could have used to launder her towels.
Two closets are locked with our personal belongings. This is a private home which is not continuously rented out, so the owners keep their personal items locked in a clearly marked closet.
All garbage was removed prior to her visit. Only recyclable items were stored in the garage.
The TV in the living room is connected to Netflix. The TV in the playroom is used to play video games. The TV in the master bedroom is connected to a DVD player to watch movies. There is also an internal antenna in the playroom which can be plugged in to watch over the air TV channels on all TVs. It is unclear why the guest had difficulty using these TVs.
She states that she did not pursue any assistance with her concerns. She stayed in our home for a week and there was ample time to drop us a message communicating any concerns. She failed to communicate any of her concerns giving the host no opportunity to explain the functionalities or fix the issues. We have had numerous guests stay in our property and no one has ever left such a negative review over a few minor issues which could have been resolved if she had communicated with us.
We had 6 adults and 3 children from ages 2-6 at this property. We were very comfortable in the bedroom/ bathroom situation. The house was well equipped in every way…. From linens to kitchen equipment to TV’s . The host was totally responsive to every question/ comment. The neighborhood was beautiful. You will not be disappointed if you stay there.

Lori and her family were wonderful guests. Excellent communication and took great care of our home. Will welcome them again any time.
So many times when we have rented a vacation rental, there is a sense of a let down when you actually see the place. This was not the case at all with this property. Everything was sparkling clean and nice. The furniture and beds were comfortable and the outdoor space is very lovely. I can't imagine a better place to rent if you are needing a house in Chapel Hill.

Thank you for your wonderful review! Communication was great and you took excellent care of our home. We will definitely like to invite you to stay again on your next visit to Chapel Hill.
Our family stayed here for a month as part of a move to Chapel Hill. We could not have been happier with the property all around. It's a in a great location to get anywhere in Chapel Hill or Durham. It is right around the corner from a park for runs or playgrounds. The rooms were clean and plenty spacious for our children. And, the gym was a bonus! Joe was super responsive and helpful throughout. We would absolutely recommend staying here for a family or group.
Our experience for the most part was good. Could’ve been excellent but there were a couple of avoidable challenges... Given this property’s daily charge rate... occupants in master bedroom should be able to have a situation where they can watch television in bed - television in bedroom did not have any network connectivity. Master bathroom did not have a functioning fan so if I used bathroom, my significant other could not stay in master bedroom unaffected by it. There was a shortage of wash clothes for some reason?
The house is very nice & most everything was thought of for occupants’ comfort... but what I mentioned above are avoidable oversights.
The owner was very accessible until day before check out. I asked for late check out after expressing frustration with master bedroom television and received no response.
Nice stay but was it worth price tag given its fee challenges? Hmmmmm

Even before he arrived this guest complained that VRBO had modified his stay. I checked and reconfirmed to him that there was no such change. During his stay he reported that the extra TV in one of the bedrooms did not receive Roku channels. I informed him that I would check it out and reminded him that the living room TV had all channels including Netflix and Amazon. He asked for a late check out and I responded to him early morning agreeing to his request. In his feedback he says I did not respond which is untrue. He also reports an issue with the bathroom fan. The instructions provided to him included the name and number of a handyman to fix any electrical or plumbing issues. He never reported the issue or contacted the handyman. He also talks about insufficient number of small towels. There are adequate towels and there is also a washing machine and dryer to clean any towels.
Update: We checked the master bedroom TV after this guest checked out and found that the Roku stick USB cable behind the TV had been pulled out and removed due to which the guest could not view Roku channels. The TV was otherwise found to work well.
Very nice and polite guests. Took excellent care of our home.

Perfect Chapel Hill Home
We were in Chapel Hill for a family wedding over Labor Day Weekend and this beautiful home was just perfect. The home is located in a lovely neighbor and is very secure. It is well equipped and was convenient to the wedding events we attended near UNC/Franklin Street and a twenty minute drive to the reception at Fearrington Barn. It was nice to relax "at home" instead of a hotel room. Besides the wedding, it was opening weekend for NCAA football and the big screen TV in the family room was a huge hit! Thank you for making your home available. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your home in Chapel Hill.

Safe and well appointed executive home.
Safe neighborhood, international flavor adds character to well appointed home. Kitchen, laundry, baths, and bedrooms are well stocked. AC kept us cool even on the hotest summer days. An improvement would be cable or dish TV.
