Weisel Cabin - Nostalgic Cabin located within walking distance of Downtown La

Charming Island Cottage built in 1905, featuring a fully equipped kitchen, three bedrooms, and living room. The cottage also has a Wood Stove, Laundry, Screened-In Porch. A Fire Pit and Gas Grill are located in the backyard. It is within walking distance to downtown restaurants, shops and attractions. All three bedrooms have one Queen size bed.

*Also, please note that the daily rate is based on 4 guests. There is an additional $25.00/person charge up to the maximum of 6 guests. This property is pet friendly and limited to two dogs.

A breath of fresh air

We (my dog and I) thoroughly enjoyed our days at Weidel Cottage. Took walks in the evening to take pictures of the sunset, found the Madeline Museum quite interesting, and enjoyed our morning coffee taking in the view of Lake Superior,

Great spot for family and dog

The cabin was in a great location - walking distance to everything. It was comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy a week on Madeline island.

Had a great time! Loved the cabin and everything about it! Would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Cozy, warm and welcoming. Records and record player were so much fun. Kids loved playing chess. Fire pit in back yard was a great way to end the day,

Biker Trip

Place was PERFECT!! CLEAN, comfy, good bed, walk to town. Have stayed 6 times on Madeline, 3 at Madeline Inn, and this was the best!

Perfect!

My sister and I stayed here for our yearly vacation and it was perfect. Walking distance to everything in LaPointe. Large open spaces, really comfortable beds. Very quiet. The record player with two tubs full of old school albums was fantastic. Hoping to bring my family back.
