Perfect coastal holiday

It was my birthday and I have in the past spent a great deal of time on the Mornington Peninsula but now live in beautiful Tasmania.I returned to Blairgowrie in order to facilitate visits by mainland friends and family.Having the house for a week worked very well as friends and family could come and go as they wished.The house is generous and accommodate six people a comfortably. My brother and son both came to stay for a few nights with us together with their partners.The house is well equipped with a good kitchen lots of glassware and a good combination of inside and outside space that works well in all Weather.Myself and a few of our friends and family are keen walkers who also like a swim in cool water every now and then.Knowing the coast and particularly the back beach can be dangerous and the beaches on either side of a spray point are not patrolled, nevertheless, at low tired there are obvious safe rock pools that may be used safely.We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it to anyone seeking to explore and enjoy all the amenity of this part of the Mornington Peninsula

Fantastic location, very nice property

Situated 15 minute walk to back beach, perfect location for all the area has to offer. Would have been good if there was a hairdryer. The place needs a really good clean, lots of cobwebs and dirt under all furniture.

Back beach beauty

My family of four thoroughly enjoyed staying at this open quiet property. We had the option of relaxing by the fireplace while watching a movie, or eating together outside on the open decking area. At night, you can hear the soothing sounds of the waves crashing on the cliff of the back beach. All three rooms had comfortable beds, and the clean modern beachy decor made us feel like we were in a home away from home. Having two bathrooms meant we weren’t crowding each other. They even have a outdoor shower near the side for you rinse off after a quick surf or swim. The location is perfect. Only a 11min walking distance to the back beach look outs and tracks, 5 min drive to the local IGA, restaurants and cafes and front beaches and a 16 mins drive to the nearest shopping centre in Rye. There is so much to see and do within a 30min drive from Blairgowrie if you are into hicking, walking, shopping, tasting the local produce, or doing nothing but lounge around and soaking up what nature has in stall for you.
