This comfortable three bedroom home sleeps 5 people comfortably, with wood burning fireplace in the great room. Master bedroom has skylight and glass sliding doors opening onto the fabulous view of the Malahat mountains and Mill Bay. Sit on the deck near the hot tub, or down on the boathouse deck which is right on the water. Walk the gorgeous waterfront road to the marina, the Deep Cove Market or the Deep Cove Chalet for world class dining. Lovely hikes and farm stands nearby, and close to Sidney by the sea. Bus stop out front!

Comfortable home in a great location

We had a very nice time in this character home. Clean, tidy with beautiful views of Sannich Inlet. It is only a short drive into Sidney or to the Swartz Bay ferry as well.

Vancouver island stay

From start to finish the stay was fabulous! Susan was always quick to reply to any questions, the views are spectacular and the property was extremely well equipped with everything we needed. The water was gorgeous and we were close to both Sidney and Victoria but far enough away that we could have some quiet nights watching the water while soaking in the hot tub. I would highly recommend a stay here!!

Incredible views!

The views from the back deck are simply amazing! Sitting in the hot tub with a cup of coffee in the morning watching all the activities in the cove was a great way to start out your day.

My parents bought this cottage in 1988 and lived there until they passed away. I rented the home for five years, and now its my part time home. I am slowly adding more amenities and renovating it. I have added a wood burning fireplace, hot tub, paint and a renovated bathroom. I rebuilt the boathouse last year so the lower deck is new and sturdy with glass rails.

Why they chose this property

My guests have commented on the comfortable decor, the fabulous view and wonderful location in a rural part of the Saanich Peninsula with lovely rural walking paths, farms stands and so many beaches. The wildlife is amazing! Seals, herons, ravens, hummingbirds, racoons, bunnies, squirrels, and owls are regular visitors. The view from the hot tub is spectacular, and so very peaceful. This is a place to relax and enjoy nature!

What makes this property unique

Benefits include the vintage furniture, the collection of curios and art. The outdoor westcoast vibe is beyond repair, and feels like you are stepping back in time. This is not a tech-heavy home. There are cards, games, puzzles, and plastic glasses to enjoy time sitting on those decks!!!
