Located in Santa Barbara’s ultra beach-focused neighborhood with a plethora of bike and walking trails, rows of palm trees, and sprawling parks meeting the sand. East Beach is known for its beach volleyball courts, oceanfront resorts, and an abundance of sun. Walk to Tri-County Produce for picnic supplies then across the street for beach time, and end the day with a sunset dinner at Convivo overlooking the water.

Built in 1911, this historic cottage has been impeccably restored honoring its vintage charm while including modern conveniences. Designed for living a relaxed seaside life, the property is filled with natural light and fresh air. The formal Living Room features plenty of seating and an attached sunroom for additional lounging options. The chandelier focused Dining Room leads into a fully renovated Kitchen with stainless steel appliances. The Bedrooms all offer stylish decor and the Primary Bedroom features a sunny reading nook. The property features a private indoor hot tub, exercise room, outdoor dining, and grill.

PLEASE NOTE: (COMMUNAL PROPERTY): The Property contains The Sea Captain’s House and The Sea Captain's Loft located on the same property grounds. Both units are available through Paradise Retreats to rent together or separately.

Will Come Back!

The house/kitchen is so well equipped. I was confused how to lock the house while we were in it. The lock wouldn’t work so we had to lock it electronically from the exterior side and then close the door. Bigger beds would be ideal but the sheets were great quality. Will stay here again for sure! 👍

Celebrating a 50th bday

Our family gathered in SB to celebrate my sister in law’s 50th bday. This property was perfect! Just a block and a half from the beach and walking distance to the Funk Zone, there was plenty close by to keep us busy. We took advantage of the yoga studio and the hot tub in the backyard. The only challenge was there is only 1 full bathroom.

Great Getaway

My husband and daughter (teenager), along with our friends and their teenager said in this home for our Spring Break getaway. We couldn't ask for anything more. The house was very cute, well kept and clean. The location to the beach was great and the house came with chairs and toys. An easy drive or nice mile walk to State street for all the shopping and eateries. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Location

Enjoyed the very cute house and the great location - simple walk to the beach and 1/2 way between Santa Barbara proper and Mendicito. There's only one full bath, (and a half bath) and so think about that if you're filling up the three bedrooms.
