About this property

Modern private and quiet apartment, centrally located. Garden and mountain views

Situated in a rural garden setting with mountain views, our modern 3 bedroom apartment is private, quiet and secure. It has an upstairs lounge and kitchen plus large sunny deck with outdoor dining, seating and BBQ. Downstairs has three bedrooms and a bathroom with twin hand basins, a shower and a laundry. A spa pool is adjacent to the master king bedroom. The two other bedrooms have queen and twin beds.
The apartment is light with plenty of ventilation in the summer, and well heated in winter with a heat pump, wall heater upstairs and portable heaters if required. The king, queen and one single bed have electric blankets in winter.
The property entrance leads you to your own sensor-lit carpark at your front door. There is a shelter by the front door suitable for bike, ski or golf club storage during your stay.

Immediately next door are the Maude Wine Tasting Rooms and Bistro Gentil Restaurant.

You will be welcomed with a free starter pack for your hot drinks, and toast and condiments for the morning. Linen including dressing gowns is included in your fee. The apartment has free wifi and you can tune into your Netflix on the smart TV if you want.
Best suited to one or two couples, or family with one or two adult children.

Wonderful Wanaka Apartment

Great place to stay in Wanaka. The unit was very clean, well accommodated, and comfortable. The hot tub was very nice, especially after some long hikes. The location is peaceful and an easy walk to town. Pamela is a wonderful host, very engaging and was willing to help us with anything we needed.

Beautiful, quiet and relaxing

We are so thankful to Pamela for everything she did for us in our stay. Her property was immaculate, quiet and picturesque. The beds were comfortable and the property had anything you could need while staying there. Pamela also gave us some fabulous suggestions on local restaurants and places to visit. Cosy and spacious cottage

Brilliant spot

We had a fantastic time here for four nights with our kids. The apartment is an amazing base to explore the area, set in beautiful grounds and the kids loved starting the day with a quick spa. Pamela was a very attentive and helpful host. We will definitely look to stay again if we're in the area

Outstanding property in Wanaka

We stayed here for a week with friends and family visiting throughout. The apartment was super clean and comfortable, and we were blessed with amazing weather to enjoy the sunny balcony and snowy mountain views. Pamela and Jeff were excellent hosts - highly recommend this property, and would certainly stay again.

Our favorite place in all of New Zealand!

My friend and I had an absolutley marvelous stay at Pamela and Jeff's property. They went above and beyond to make our stay our most memorable pit-stop in New Zealand. Wanaka is an absolute dream, and you will be blown away by the view, design, and upkeep of the grounds. Pamela and Jeff were so welcoming and hospitable -- they truly made us feel at home! We will always remember mornings in the jacuzzi, meals cooked in the upstairs kitchen, and all of our adventures in Wanaka! We hope to be back some day.

We were so happy with the apartment and surrounding views. And when we met Pamela she made us feel so welcomed and comfortable.This is exactly what you want in a VRBO experience.The bedrooms were large and comfortable and the one bathroom is good sized and modern.We can’t wait to return to New Zealand and stay at this wonder first class accommodation again!It’s even better than advertised.20 minute easy walk to the lake and downtown.Thanks Pamela and Jeff for your gracious hospitality.

Comfortable, quiet and lovely apartment

We enjoyed our stay in this modern, comfortable, light filled home. Pamela was easy to communicate with and she met us on check in and showed us through the property. It’s a great location, close to the city and very peaceful. There is a great deck upstairs with views of the garden and mountains. Would definitely recommend.

Just Perfect!

River View property is just Perfect. Very clean and well presented. It has everything you should need for your well deserved break. We loved our stay here and definitely recommend this beautiful property. Pamela the host was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The Spa was a welcome bonus after a long day of walking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and was sad to leave.

Welcoming and comfortable

Geoff and Pam had supplied a generous Welcome Pack (some items from their own fruit trees and veg patch!) for our arrival to their beautifully appointed guest house. Set in their lovely mature garden, we enjoyed privacy and relaxation using the hot tub, bbq and lovely top floor deck. Thank you both.

A great stay in Wanaka

The apartment was fantastic, with great views to the mountains. The apartment is well equipped and very comfortable. Having a fitted rather than portable hob would be the only slight improvement we would suggest. Pamela and Jeff were excellent hosts and gave us advice on places to visit throughout the week. The apartment is in a very quiet neighbourhood, but you can walk into the bustling centre of Wanaka in 10 mins or so. One of the highlights of our 7 week stay in New Zealand.

Magnificent!

If I could rate Longview an 11 I would. Beautifully appointed, very comfortable, immaculately clean and Pamela and Jeff the most wonderful hosts. Little touches like the welcoming chocolate. wine and home made marmalade and brekky provisions were much appreciated. Amazing views across the lake and located not too far from town. And the spa after a hard days hiking was fabulous. We can't wait to come back! And special mention to the gorgeous Ellie the border collie! She's a character! Thank you Pamela and Jeff for a wonderful stay in Wanaka for us.

Live like Royalty

My family had a lovely stay in this beautiful house for 3 nights. Pamela and Jeff spoilt us by meeting us on arrival for a walk through of the property and its many features. They even left us a bottle of wine and block of chocolate. The two-store property felt brand new - absolutely spotless with extremely comfortable beds and lounges. It has a well-equipped kitchen and a beautiful big backyard (wait until you see the beautiful gardens) with views across to the snow-capped mountains. Their pet Border Collie was lots of fun for our kid to play with each day as well. The fancy hot tub was nice to come home to after a day at the snow. You have a wine bar next door and you are about a 3 min drive to the centre of town. We could not fault our stay at this wonderful house. Thanks Pamela and Jeff!

Could not fault this amazing property! It's beautiful aesthetic, cleanliness, and friendly hosts, ensured we had a fabulous stay. Excellent use of space, and the facilities provided everything we needed. Pamela was very helpful in giving us her local knowledge. Maude Winery next door was an added bonus, with its tastings and food. We will definitely be back when in NZ!

Great place in a great location with a great host .. Pam was great in explaining where everything was and how everything worked. It was close to town but very quiet and private. I would highly recommend this place.
