With so many attractions at your fingertips in Wanaka - Skiing, Jet Boating, Beautiful Lake Walking and Bike Tracks, Puzzle World, Wanaka Toy and Transport Museum, Pony Treks - you decide whether you want to enjoy these attractions or just spend time soaking up the views and relaxing in the large living areas. There is plenty of room for the whole family to spread out. And it's easy to find a sunny nook to curl up with a good book or play a game of pool downstairs in the games room.

Views from the balcony are fabulous. We loved it. Comfortable lounge and kitchen was functional. The house is somewhat quirky, odd arrangement of the downstairs games room and beds.

Fantasic location in the heart of Wanaka

We loved our stay in this large centrally located house. The house was built in the 70s and has stayed in the 70s (complete with record player)! For size, location, views and price you're unlikely to beat it.

Family Reunion Ski Holiday

This house was absolutely perfect for our needs. We skied for 5 days and rode from Arrowtown to Gibbston another. So many clothes to wash and dry and wood burner was brilliant. The house had everything we needed to do our own catering and the kids loved the games cupboard. We’ll be back!

Great location, fabulous view

Difficult to review to his house because it was being renovated when we stayed. I can say that for the people coming after us, this is the best spot in Wānaka and the view is magnificent. When the deck is completed , it will be fabulous. Old style home. There are a few things that can be done better, more internet use, more toilet paper, and the owners need to pack away their personal possessions.

Best Location in Wanaka.

Fantastic location next to food trucks in central Wanaka. Very large home for families with upstairs larger rooms and downstairs bedrooms that would suit teenage crew and parents. Excellent parking, up the hill of main street outside back door of house easy to load ski gear. Very warm wood fire, AC downstairs and upstairs if needed. Amazing deck with view of Lake and township. Older property with plenty of kitchen equipment going through a number or updates and renovations that will make this one of the best homes in Wanaka. Fantastic showers and comfortable beds. Lazy boy chairs are so good after a day skiing. Can't beat the location for access to town for shopping and 2 minute walk into town. Excellent host who will help with any queries. Thankyou, for the hospitality and allowing us to stay at the home.

Amazing location family friendly home

This was a wonderful place for us as a family with 2 children to stay at. So close to everything , walking distance to food shops bars and the lake. The views from house are spectacular. Had some games of pool and played UNO in front of the wood fire at nights.

Large house in great location

We had a great stay here for a couple of days while exploring the Wanaka area. The house is very spacious and comfortable. Classic 1970s features and furnishings added to our enjoyment of the house, we loved it! The pool table provided some relaxed fun on a rainy day. Kitchen has everything you need, plenty of plates, glasses etc. The views across the lake to the mountains was constantly changing with the weather, beautiful. Just down the road are the food trucks and the cinema, as well as the supermarket and lakefront restaurants. Great holiday house.

Great location, great house!

The house is wonderfully set up, with great comms from the owners. Views out over the lake are stunning and it’s one of the closest possible residences to the town centre. Superb!
