Highlands Getaway

Ponsonby is a delightful cottage in a great location in Mittagong. Walking distance to cafes, restaurants and shops. It is very spacious and well appointed with some generous kitchen and bathroom supplies to get you started. Lovely garden to enjoy. Very comfortable for 6 adults and an infant.

Weekend away

The cottage was all that and more. The bedrooms were very comfortable and spacious. The lounge area was very cosy with the gas heather and our party of four were able to stretch out comfortably on the couch. The kitchen had all the utensils and tools for cooking. The hosts were very generous in supplying a couple of very thoughtful arrival items including a small birthday cake. We loved it and would definitely look to book again.

Lovely Place

The place is so lovely and the garden is so nice to bathe in the morning sun! Kitchen is well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to be back again.

Beautifully presented cottage in a great location for exploring Mittagong and the Southern Highlands. The cottage is amazing, extremely well stocked and included a welcome pack of fresh eggs, wine and chocolates. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ponsonby.

Great house, perfect location

The house is fantastic, everything you could possibly need (and more!) with beautiful furniture and fittings. And the location was perfect for us, a quick walk to loads of restaurants. Mittagong made a great base to explore the southern highlands. Highly recommend!

Peaceful Christmas

A wonderful house to gather the family in. We were more than happy to spend time with everyone in the lounge or the kitchen/dining. The dining table is large enough to fit everyone, and also great to play games on.

Perfect weekend retreat

Ponsonby is perfect in every way. There is not one thing that could be better. We loved our daily walks around the lake and our beautiful back yard. Thank you Adam and Nat for your hospitality. We can’t wait for our next visit.

Stayed here for my mum’s 60th birthday. The house had everything we needed. The location was perfect - off the Main Street and a very quick walk to the lake and playground. Comfortable beds. Great bathrooms. Beautiful backyard.

Lovely home away from home

Ponsonby is a beautifully decorated property with all the comforts of home. Check in was very easy and we loved the little touches like the wine, chocolates and free range eggs. The garden is beautiful and we enjoyed taking multiple walks around Lake Alexandra which is only a short stroll down the road. This was our second stay at Ponsonby and we are keen to visit again.
