Welcome to The Meeting House Room 2 - 20 Boulevard

Offering 1 queen bed and a great view of our concert stage and courtyard, this room will keep you in the middle of the action! Perfect for singles or couples looking for an easy way to visit Carlton Landing!

The Meeting House is where community happens! Located at 20 Blvd in Carlton Landing, we are a coffee shop, restaurant, sports bar, and generally awesome concert venue that serves craft beer, amazing wine, and yummy adult beverages! Kids keep us busy making our hand-crafted Blue Bell milkshakes! We have a variety of great Carlton Landing and Meeting House t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and other cool gifts as well! Come join us, stay awhile, make new friends, and laugh with old ones!

The Meeting House offers 3 absolutely beautiful suites upstairs! Each room is extremely comfortable complete with en suite bathrooms. Located on the second floor of The Meeting House, guests will be in the center of the action! Being the only place in Carlton Landing that offers nightly room rentals, The Meeting House suites are a favorite!

Friday and Saturday- 8am to 10pm
Sunday- 8am to 2pm Closed for Church from 10am to 11am

**Full Disclosure-If you are looking for a quiet place on the weekend or have a certain bedtime this is not the ideal spot for you. The meeting house is hopping downstairs, guests and neighbors hang out outdoors until about 11 pm.

The Meeting House guest parking is located in the parking lot behind The Meeting House.

If you would like to rent a Golf cart, please reserve your cart online through Carts of Carlton at or contact Dr. Doos at.

Meeting House en-suites at LakeStay are equipped with bed linens, bath towels, and a starter supply of amenities. Guests will have access to our community amenities: pool, hot tub, grills, inflatable water park, and seasonal kayaks-paddle board rentals. Band playing was nice during the early evening, however, when you want to go to sleep and the band is still playing, it can be a challenge. If you stay at the meeting house, check to see if they have music playing first.

Great location, no amenities or service

No one answers their phone and the manager does not communicate through the Vrbo app so if you send them a message it will never be replied to. You have to email them and when you do you will be waiting for a bit to get a response. They did accommodate an earlier check in time which I appreciate it. However, check in instructions were not clear, amenities extremely sparse, uncomfortable bed, the only positive was that it was a great location/neighborhood.

unfortunately, the tv was through the wifii and the speed of the connection did not allow us to have the tv for the final game of the World Series. That issue should have been stated and the management said that this is a problem in the entire area. Direct tv or Dish do not have that problem and i will be more careful in booking places in the future that try this solution providing TV and internet.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed one night for a quick getaway. The room is comfortable with a great bed. The issue was that the shower would not get above lukewarm the whole evening. We tried multiple times and let it run for over 20 minutes with many adjustments to the faucets with no truly hot water coming out. We contacted the manager but they did not apologize and just reassured us that no one else had reported a problem and we hadn’t let it run long enough. The next morning, the water temperature was normal!Again, I informed the manager and they had nothing to say about it. No apology, no acknowledgement of the inconvenience. Other small details were out of place. The guest book was out of date with incorrect wifi, phone numbers (to call about the water issue), no cups for the coffee maker.In summary, better customer service would have made these inconveniences forgivable. As it was, this rental and its customers are obviously not a priority.

Beautiful Space - Abandoned Town!

Reviewer Comments: The Meeting House is beautiful, but the entire Carlton Landing area is abandoned during the off-season. The coffee shop/restaurant downstairs was closed leaving me nothing anywhere close to the area for food or beverage. I had to drive 20 mins into Eufaula for food, which is a small but cute town and a lot is closed there during the off season or only open on weekends. I stopped at a grocery store for some items for breakfast. There is a mini fridge and coffee but no microwave. It was honestly eerie being the only person in this entire resort community surrounded by gorgeous homes. I wouldn't travel alone during the off season as it's a bit scary. The room was lovely, furnished nicely, and I can imagine during the summer it would be a lively place. A warning would have been nice though that nothing would be open!

Quick Getaway

My husband and I stayed over Valentine's weekend and loved it. It was definitely lively and noisey in the room until 10:30p...but the listing had already prepared us for that, so we honestly didn't mind. Only main "con" was the room temperature...it was so warm in our room bc there's1 thermostat for 3 rooms. Overall great way to try out Carlton Landing. Perfect for a super affordable quick weekend away. We loved Mama Tig's pizza, enjoyed drinking cocktails and playing Checkers in the Meeting House, had lovely walks around the community and enjoyed soaking in the hot tub while it was 40 degrees outside.
