The Fechner Place guest suite is a small contemporary space, beautifully furnished for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The Queen Bed has been fitted with all natural fibre quality bed linens. The adjoining EnSuite bathroom has environmentally sustainable shampoo, conditioner, body wash and soap. The open layout includes a kitchenette with microwave, coffee machine, kettle, fridge, toaster and breakfast area. The modern bathroom has good quality towels, bath mat, hand towels, tissues, toilet paper, hairdryer and straightening Iron.

A private courtyard is a wonderful sunny spot to start your day. Later, you can enjoy your bottle of wine and cheese plate on us.

The studio is a private space to retreat after a long day enjoying the Barossa Valley. It's perfect after a long day of wine tasting and food indulgence to rest your weary body and maybe watch a movie. There is strictly no smoking in the studio. If you would like to smoke we ask that you use the courtyard area. Please ensure that you dispose of your cigarette buts in the ashtray provided and keep the doors and windows to the studio closed. We do not accommodate animals to stay. The continental breakfast provided is enough for a light to moderate breakfast for the length of your stay; please, make yourself at home.

The very private Studio and Courtyard rental are accessed through a common breezeway which separates them from the main dwelling.

We are available for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. If you need anything, give us a call or reach out through Airbnb. You will be able to self check-in upon arrival.

The studio is located on a lovely quiet street, with its own private entrance and parking. Located in the heart of the Barossa and walking distance to the main street of Tanunda, you are perfectly positioned for easy access to many of the great wineries, restaurants and experiences that the region has to offer.

We are a 2 min drive from the pretty village of Tanunda that is well serviced with a varied selection of cafes, restaurants, pubs, 2 breweries, supermarket, butcher, bakeries, specialty retail stores, a medical centre, hospital and post office for your convenience.

We are a short 10 min drive to the famed Barossa Valley Farmers market in the picturesque township of Angaston, which is open on Saturday mornings from 7.30am. This is on our must do list.

If food and wine are not your thing, there are numerous walking and cycling trails with some easy bush walks through Kaiser Stuhl National Park. This is best visited at dusk to do some kangaroo spotting. Or you could play a round of Golf at the Tanunda Pines Golf Club, ballooning or a helicopter ride from the close township of Lyndoch to get a birds eye view of the this beautiful place we call home.

There is so much to do and explore in this beautiful part of South Australia. Welcome to the Barossa and enjoy your stay.

We have a compendium in the apartment which lists all of our favorite eateries, wineries and experiences in the Barossa. We also list the local Taxi service, private tour operators and walking/bike trails for you to navigate your way around during your stay.

You will need a car to access the Studio. There is no public transport in the region other than a taxi cab service and the occasional Uber.

If you open it, close it; if you borrow it, return it; if you turn it on, turn it off; if you break it, tell us; if you use it, take care of it; if you make a mess, clean it up; if you move it, put it back. We appreciate you respecting our home.
There is strictly no smoking in the studio. If you would like to smoke we ask that you use the courtyard area. Please ensure that you dispose of your cigarette buts in the ashtray provided and keep the doors and windows to the studio closed.

Please remember that you're staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect and care. If any problems arise, we will do our best to act ASAP.

A Gem In The Heart Of The Barossa
You could not ask for a better place to stay when choosing The Barossa. It is in the perfect central position with major wineries also within walking distance, yet so close to the main hub. The property was absolutely perfect and beautifully appointed. The special touches of breakfast provisions and wine just made it even more special. Hosts were amazing and communication was fantastic. Definitely recommend this place for a great stay in The Barosss. 5 🌟 for sure.

Highlight of our trip
This accommodation was the highlight of our trip. Everything was faultless and beautifully clean. The breakfast provisions were spot on and the cheese platter and wine so thoughtful. Hope to visit again and will definitely be recommending to our friends.

ThIs is a small but beautifully presented studio in a very good location. Proprietors helpful and friendly. Our only issue was no wifi which is almost necessary in this age of connectivity

I've lived with my partner and 3 gorgeous children in the Beautiful Barossa Valley, South Australia for over 40 years. We enjoy spending time outdoors with our family on our 30 acre property.
We have both worked in the wine and Tourism Industry for the last 20 years and understand the importance of great guest experiences. We have traveled extensively and experienced all types of accommodation. I have been able to use what I have learnt to create a very successful Airbnb business (Violet and Sage).
I have a keen interest and passion in real estate and travel and now enjoy combining both by hosting properties through Airbnb. We love creating beautiful, comfortable spaces that our guests can call "home" and pride ourselves in offering a 5 star service. Our aim is that our guests never want to leave!
