About this property

Our cottage was built in 1866 and has been completely renovated with modern appliances and facilities. It is ideal for couples or business travellers. It has two bedrooms, one in the loft and the second on the ground floor, Both bedrooms have very comfortable queen size beds with electric blankets fitted. It is fully equipped with TV, free WiFi, and all cooking utensils. There is a slow combustion heater and airconditioning as well as fans in each room. Guests are provided with a light breakfast consisting of a selection of cereals, bread for toast, a range of condiments and tea or coffee. There is a coffee maker with pods. As we also use the cottage from time to time it is fully equipped with a range of foodstuffs which we encourage our guests to use but please leave a note if you use them up so we can replenish the supply The kitchen has a microwave oven and a range of electrical appliances.
The bathroom comes complete with towels, body soap, hair shampoo and conditioner and a hair dryer.
There is a washing machine, clothes dryer and clothes iron for guest use.
The back verandah is a great place to sit and enjoy a glass of Barossa Wine after spending the day tasting the great Barossa food and wine.
There is a gas barbecue for use by guests.
There is a folder with our recommendations of places to see and our opinion on the best places to eat in the Valley.
The cottage is fitted with smoke detectors and a CO2 detector.

Cozy time capsule

My husband and I stayed in the property for three nights. We really enjoyed it. Peaceful, quiet location, lots of space inside and outside. Lots of things to explore in the area and then return to this beautiful cottage and relax surrounded by tranquility and local history. Museum and home in one! Fantastic holiday!
