Our 2 bedroom and 2 bath golf villa is located in the prestigious, world-class Palmetto Dunes resort! This golf course oriented villa is just a short walk to some of the best beaches on Hilton Head Island and is situated in the Inverness community with its three on-site clay tennis courts, a beautiful saltwater pool, and an 11-mile lagoon.

The Space:

Overlooking the fairway and steps away from the beach and the bicycle path, this is the perfect family vacation, golf group outing or weekend getaway!

Our 2 bedroom and 2 bath golf villa is located in the prestigious, world-class Palmetto Dunes resort! This golf course oriented villa is just a short walk to some of the best beaches on Hilton Head Island and is situated in the Inverness community with its three on-site clay tennis courts, a beautiful saltwater pool, and an 11-mile lagoon. 

Our single-story floorplan features vaulted ceiling in the living area with a serene view of the golf course and landscape. The dining area has a large dining table for 6 and a wet bar. The bedrooms are tucked down the hallway. The primary bedroom features a King-sized bed, large walk-in closet, TV, and a new renovated walk-in shower and double vanity bathroom. The bedroom has a walk-out to the private deck, as well. Down the hallway, the guestroom features a full-sized bed, a twin-sized bed, full closet & dresser, and a Smart TV. The guest bathroom is accessible from the hallway and has a shower/tub.
Our immaculate kitchen is a bright and sunny space with a dining nook and a full size washer & dryer laundry area. Stainless steel appliances throughout the kitchen, as well as all the cookware and dishware you need to enjoy your home away from home. We have a standard drip coffee pot and a Keurig in the kitchen.
Our Inverness Villa features a Queen-sized sleeper sofa in living room. Linens and towels are provided for all beds and sleeper sofa with extra pillows and blankets stored in the closet. Beach towels are also provided for our guests.
The living room has a LG Smart TV over the fireplace, and there are plenty of games for family and kids to enjoy!
The front courtyard will have beach chairs and a beach wagon available for our guests to use.

Inverness Village offers a private saltwater pool, toddler pool and sundeck for relaxing or fishing on the 11-mile lagoon . There is also a dock for kayak access on the 11-mile lagoon system. Adjacent to the pool are three new private Har-Tru tennis courts that are free for our guests. Inverness is one of the only properties in Palmetto Dunes with its own tennis courts!

Beach access at Disney Resort is a 5 minute bike ride from the villa. Parking is available on first come first park basis. You also have FREE access to the Palmetto Dunes Buggy during your stay - offered April - September. The Palmetto Dunes Buggy provides air-conditioned courtesy transportation within Palmetto Dunes and Shelter Cove and is just a phone call away! Palmetto Dunes offers three world class golf courses, miles of bike paths, Outdoor Outfitters for renting all of your vacation needs from bikes, kayaks to beach chairs and beach umbrellas, the General Store, restaurants and is close to shopping and grocery stores. Don't forget to visit The Dunes House oceanfront bar and grill during your visit - it is one of our favorite stops in Palmetto Dunes!


The pool is open daily from sunrise to sunset from April 1st to October 31st. 

Please Note: We provide starter amenities upon check-in. This includes one set of bath towels for each guest, travel-size bathroom toiletries & two(2) toilet paper rolls for the bathroom. Beds will be made for you with one(1) set of clean bed linens for each bed. In the kitchen, you will find starter packs of laundry & dish detergent, dish soap, one(1) paper towel roll, coffee filters and trash bags, and a dishtowel. The kitchen is fully stocked with cutlery, cooking utensils, appliances, and dinnerware. These items are only a starter pack and will not be refilled during your reservation. Beach towels, wagon, & beach chairs also provided!

Parking Pass information: Stays over 7 nights will incur an additional charge.
No Smoking. No Pets. No Parties.
NO RV's, sprinter vans or shuttles. No motorcycles or trailers are allowed on the property in Palmetto Dunes. Bikes must be secured in front courtyard. Only Inverness parking passes are permitted in Inverness parking lot. Other vehicles with passes from different complexes are subject to a citation or tow. Maximum of 2 parking passes per reservation.

Guest Access:
Key code access will be provided in the days prior to your arrival for seamless check-in. Parking pass must be displayed in vehicle throughout your stay in Palmetto Dunes. Two parking passes will be provided. Inverness Village does not allow more than 2 parking passes per stay.

The Neighborhood:

Walk to the The Dunes House Oceanfront restaurant and bar or the beautiful beaches of Palmetto Dunes. Ride your bike, walk or take the Breeze Trolley to locations from the South End to Mid-island! Also, from April - October, call for Palmetto Dune's free transportation, the Dunes Buggy, from your home or villa to the beach, restaurants, the General Store or Shelter Cove and enjoy all the amenities that Palmetto Dunes has for you!  Enjoy easy days relaxing in the sun, sand and surf on some of the best beaches in the country. Get into the swing of things with 24 world class golf courses and 350 tennis courts, and experience our rich and vibrant history. Outdoor adventure is yours—ride horseback through a forest preserve, bike on the beach and moss-draped trails, kayak in our beautiful waters, go dolphin watching or even zip-line through our beautiful Low Country! Experience and explore all that Hilton Head Island has to offer.

Getting Around:
The villa is located in the beautiful Palmetto Dunes Resort's Inverness Village. Easy bike ride or walk to the beach. The resort has miles of bike paths, sidewalks and lagoon access for kayaking! The mid-island location is close to restaurants, shopping and the beach by vehicle or The Dunes Buggy shuttle service seasonally.

Other Things to Note:
Palmetto Dunes Resort does not permit RV's, Shuttles, or trailers. No logo or commercial signage vehicles permitted overnight unless parked in a garage.

Bugs
We get asked about Palmetto Bugs all the time. Yes, these are roaches and are found pretty much everywhere outside in South Carolina but we like to call them Palmetto Bugs as it makes them sound nicer! They can be pretty big, can fly and will scurry around the floor but they are largely harmless. They do occasionally come inside, especially at night and during or after any storms. Rest assured all of our homes are professionally treated monthly for pests. Any bugs that manage to get inside will die quickly.

According to Eric Benson, Ph.D. professor and extension entomologist at Clemson University “It has nothing to do with cleanliness or the economic conditions of the area,” said Benson. “They could be around the nicest home or the nicest hotel or resort.”

If you leave the doors or windows open, especially at night, you will likely see a few. This is perfectly normal. If you see 20 or 30 all in one place then please let us know. This might mean we have a nest somewhere in the home and we'll need to get pest control out to take care of it. This is extremely rare!

Please don't worry about bugs, enjoy your vacation. You'll likely not see any while you are here, we just include this note so you understand it's not unusual to see some and it doesn't mean the home isn't well looked after!
