About this property

We welcome you to Barradise! The name is derived from our location in Barrachois Harbour, which we believe, is a little piece of paradise. We are offering a well-appointed one bedroom loft with A/C, full kitchen, 4 piece bathroom, queen sized bed, BBQ, Smart TV, free Wifi, small work station and USB chargers. We are Located less than 5 minutes from the vibrant village of Tatamagouche, our loft is very well appointed and has gorgeous views of Barrachois Harbour, the Cobequid Mountain Range and the Village of Tatamagouche. Wildlife is abundant and you may see deer, rabbits, foxes, many different birds, from hummingbirds to bald eagles and even a rare black bear. Relax on the large deck taking in the ocean breezes and scenic views, with the Barrachois Harbour fisherman's wharf and Yacht Club/Marina located less than a kilometre away. Visit between May and June and you will be able to purchase freshly caught lobster from the wharf. Take a stroll down the path to a large waterfowl pond located on our property to watch the local wildlife. Witness beautiful sunrises from the living room/deck. Please note: Minimum 2 night stay from June 15 - September 15.

Wonderfully quaint!

This was a beautiful place to stay while in town. All the amenities, all the charm, all the feels of home away from home. I would 100% stay here again!

Awesome spot to stay

It’s a great place to stay, very cozy and close to Tatamagouche, and the ocean and was close to Bainfest which we were attending, and the cost was very reasonable, cheaper than the local motel was asking, highly recommend this place, and the bed was very comfortable

Fantastic!

Absolutely the best place to stay! So peaceful and relaxing! Lots of wildlife to watch, birds always singing. The loft was immaculate, very comfy with everything that you could need. I’d recommend it to everyone looking for a great place to stay! Helen and Robert are the best!

The actual property itself is easy to spot as you drive along the street. The loft is cozy and well-furnished to be comfortable without being overcrowded. The owners Robert and Helen are so kind, sweet, gracious, and welcoming, coming out to welcome us when we arrived even though the weather was rather wet, windy and cold.

Beautiful views!!!

Very nice views of the water and countryside from the large deck and windows! Nice place with very comfortable arrangement and modern appliances. Stairs can be a little tricky for older folks.

Nova Scotia trip to see family

We came to NS to see family and just needed a place to sleep at night. So glad we found Barradise Loft. Helen and Robert are wonderful hosts! They have thought of everything. The loft was spotless, welcoming and perfect for our family. We travel a lot and this is one of the best appointed sites. We look forward to staying with them again on another visit.

FABULOUS

Helen & Robert you truly have a slice of paradise at your place!! The loft is beautiful, cozy & exceptionally clean. Beautiful furnishings, well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, smart TV, gorgeous deck, breath taking sunsets & so many deer! We even saw a black bear in the distance. Location is perfect & close to all amenities. We enjoyed our week long stay here & we were sad to have to go as we truly felt like home! I wish I could give these wonderful people 10 stars!!! Highly recommended!!!! As in the words of Ann & Helen " kindred spirits " .... Thank You again for the perfect vacation stay.

Our stay at the loft was fantastic. I’d like to start first with the location. Location is really close to the town. Supper quick to get back and forth. The loft is not only modern and well thought out but spacious. The facilities at the loft are all fantastic with new stove microwave and refrigerator. Shower and bathroom facilities are very nice. The loft was very clean with exceptional levels of cleanliness. The decor are all modern and tasteful. Views of the town from the bedroom and scenic views on the balcony. Thank you to our hosts for a lovely stay, would highly recommend :)

Above and beyond service

The barradise loft is a lovely property and the owners haven’t overlooked a single detail. Everything was perfect. I’d give them 20 stars if I could. Robert and Helen were able to accommodate us on very short notice when a family emergency brought us to the area unexpectedly in the middle of winter. They we’re very kind and sympathetic to our situation. The property is beautiful.

We absolutely loved our stay at Barradise loft! We were greeted upon arrival by its very friendly and welcoming owners. It’s located in a stunning area and so peaceful but only five minutes away from Tatamagouche. The loft is tastefully decorated, clean and well appointed. The hosts thought of just about everything, from basic necessities, to extras such as a phone cord extension, local truffles and homemade jam! Robert even came out one evening to alert us of the albino deer in the backyard, and when we left we were given a handmade gift to take with us. We loved our stay and will be back! Thank you so much :)

This was a beautiful place to stay on our noviscotis vacation Robert and Helen were the best hosts

What can I say top 2 of all the places we have stayed at in all our years of traveling. Beautiful and clean!!! Our hosts were wonderful till the end with a hand made parting gift. They deserve a sixth star.

Great getaway spot

We really enjoyed our week at Helen and Robert's charming, beautifully appointed vacation rental - it's in a beautiful pastoral setting but only five or ten minutes to Tatamagouche with its restaurants and shops. Helen and Robert are lovely hosts, welcoming and friendly. We had great weather and particularly enjoyed the balcony with its afternoon shade, lovely breezes and great view. The apartment is spotless, modern, bright and had everything we needed, including complimentary coffee and cream. Highly recommended, and we'll be back - thank you!

An immaculate beautiful loft apartment! Very impressive!

If I could rate higher than 10- I would! This suite is perfection! It is immaculate, beautifully appointed and new. The view is lovely; the location is very central to Tatamagouche and area; the hosts have provided everything you could need; personal touches of coffee, truffles and jam; fresh cream in the fridge; a beautiful balcony complete with a grill. I hope to go back!
