The Neighborhood:
Belle Cottage is perfectly positioned in a quiet yet central part of Orange, just two streets back from the main hub of town. From the cottage, it’s an easy 6-minute stroll to Summer Street, where you'll find a vibrant selection of cafes, bars, and restaurants. The Orange Central Square Shopping Centre is only a 5-minute walk away and includes Coles, The Coffee Club, and a variety of retail stores. Guests can also enjoy a short walk to The Union Bank and Hawkes General Store, both popular local spots for food and coffee. Racine Bakery, Chemist Warehouse, Harris Farm Markets, and Woolworths are just a little further, around an 8-minute walk. For those who love a scenic walk, a pleasant 18-minute stroll down March Street and tree-lined Sampson Street will take you to the beautiful and historic Cook Park. The neighbourhood is peaceful and well-connected, making it an ideal base to explore all that Orange has to offer.

Belle Cottage is a short drive to anywhere and you can walk to most places in the CBD depending on your activity level.

Belle cottage on March

Lovely place to stay in Orange. House was clean and comfortable and met all our needs. Well with in walking distance of good restaurants and cafes. Orange is a great area to explore and the wine tasting tours of the many wineries were a must for the wine lovers.

We had a lovely stay at Belle Cottage on March. Fantastic location and able to walk to lots of places, it was bigger than anticipated and we had plenty of room. Lovely clean and well set up

We stayed in Orange for a family funeral and needed accomodation for myself, my elderly mother and my sister. This well positioned property near the CBD of Orange was perfect, only minutes away from everything we needed, yet quiet for a good night's sleep. The facilities were well set up and ready for use and the beds were all super comfy. Thank you!

House was as advertised. Only issue was finding on arrival a blocked toilet that was close to overflowing. After much searching, I found the number of the office to call and they were able to organize a plumber who came within 60 minutes and fixed the problem. It would be good if the property had an emergency number located in the property rather than needing to search for a number to call. Yes, I did also use the Vrbo messaging system but in situations like this, you really want to speak to someone directly.

The property itself was great for what we paid. Didn’t use all the bedrooms as there was only 2 of us. The biggest problem was communications. The VRBO app for booking and messages failed totally, and we had 2 different people texting us when we tried to contact them directly. I’d advise booking directly not through an app.
