Welcome to Smoky Mountain Dreams Log Cabin.

This is a very special 3 story luxury mountain log cabin in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Waynesville, North Carolina that is perfect for families with children or a couples getaway. This unique mountain home has a fantastic view of the blue ridge mountains and is nestled in a forest canopy with a private nature trail, a roaring creek running through the back yard and a children's playground in the woods. There is also a log bridge to your own personal island in the woods surrounding a fire pit beautifully lit at night. The home is modern yet rustic and meticulously clean. The home can comfortably host up to 8 adults and 2 children.

Your dream vacation home features 3 floors with 4 large rustic bedrooms (all with queen beds), 3.5 bathrooms and a bonus kids bedroom with a log bunk bed. The huge living room has 20 foot vaulted ceilings, a stacked electric fireplace to the ceiling, a large screen TV with roku and fantastic views. The home also includes an additional downstairs kids bedroom and play area with roku TV and an awesome log bunk bed. A wrap-around deck, hardwood floors and a fully stocked kitchen w/granite counter tops and new appliances. Wifi covers the entire home and grounds. There is also a guest computer connected to the internet for browsing. The roku TVs give you access to movies, news, sports and more. There is a large front yard that is perfect and safe for children or families of all ages.

If you are used to staying in classy hotels or homes you will feel right at home here. The house is impeccably clean, well organized, has comfortable rustic furniture, quality towels and linens, a fully stocked kitchen will all the appliances and much more.

This is not one of those "dirt roads, twisting, looking over the side of a road - scary drives" in the mountains. The home is easy to get to any time of year with paved access all the way to the driveway.

We are located within 30 minutes to a Great Smoky Mountains National Park entrance, 35 minutes to Cataloochee Valley elk viewing, 35 minutes from artsy Asheville, 25 minutes from the Cataloochee ski resort and snow tubing, 20 minutes to the blue ridge parkway with views up to 6,000 feet, 25 minutes from Cherokee Indian reservation, 1 hour from Gatlinburg, 30 minutes to the Casino and much, much more.

We are truly in love with the area and are more than happy to help with any details of your visit including nature activities (hiking, rafting, etc..), restaurants, recommendations and more. We would love to help you plan a perfect trip around your family's time and desires.

We had a great time with our family and Zachary is a great host. The cabin has lots of room. We had 5 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of room for all. It’s close to Cataloochee - be sure and check out the elk. The kids loved the play area in the woods, the rope course, swings and climbing net. The firepit was great on a cool fall night in the mountains as well. This cabin has lots to offer!

We did a small family reunion of 8 people spanning 3 generations and everyone had a great time! Such a peaceful location and a beautiful lodge with everything provided. Beds are comfortable, baths are clean, plenty of space, beautiful garden area. Everything is as advertised and better. Highly recommended!

My family and I have poured our heart and soul into this home and the property. What is really special is the panoramic views and the private nature trail, creek & playground.

Why they chose this property

I went to camp in North Carolina when I was 10 years old. I dreamed from that age of owning a vacation home in the mountains one day. After searching for five years we found this amazing home and put a lot of love into it and are happy to share with you.

What makes this property unique

The quality of everything is impeccable. It is a very unique lot that has a private woods in the back yard with a beautiful creek. We built a walkway and bridge to an island that has a firepit. We built a nature trail through the woods and a really cool kids rustic playground area.
