Great Place

We really enjoyed our stay and liked the location of the home. It is about 20-30 minutes away from most things to do but it felt like our own piece of the neighborhood. It was a relaxing place to just kick back for a few days. We loved having access to the kayaks.

Cute place to get away & fish

We had an amazing little get away weekend here. The place is decorated really cute & the neighborhood was nice. It has a big back yard between the house & the lake that includes a cute little fire pit area with seats & adorable lighting. If you’re looking for a place to swim, this lake is not it(not the owners fault) the lake was full of grass & other plant material so swimming would have been difficult. We were able to use the kayaks & the dock for fishing. There is a swimming spot about 5 miles away called Rocky Creek Park that has an area marked off plus it provides picnic tables & grills. Overall we had an amazing time!

Just what we were looking for! A beautiful setting with peaceful surroundings. The cabin was just lovely and immaculate. The owners were very easy to contact with a question we had and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again. *please note that I tried to leave the highest rating but not clear if 1 is the best or 5. Just note that I am leaving the best rating.

So peaceful

The perfect lake get away for a long weekend. Beautiful lake, awesome home and hosts. The home was very comfortable, well stocked with essentials (kitchen) and overall clean. Ramp access only a short distance away. Dock at the home great for tying up the boat overnight. Loved just walking out the door and onto the boat. Loved sitting outside by the fire. We would definitely recommend.

Cozy quaint place

I stayed here with my husband and 2 kids for fall break. The house was really more of a mobile home, it was perfect for our family. The neighborhood does not seem as safe because it's in the woods and far from a lot of places. We felt a little uneased at night because there is no alarm and no deadbolt lock on any of the doors. The view of the lake was nice and we enjoyed sitting on the dock. We also enjoyed the fire pit. We did not like that we had to commute over 30 minutes just to go to a restaurant or a grocery store. The property manager was really nice and made sure we were settled in and answered all of our questions. There was a sweet neighborhood dog Buck that visited us and my kids loved him.

Lovely location. Enjoyed the outdoors. We understand that property probably gets rented more in the summer time, But would think that thing decks and approaches could have been blown off of them. They were pretty thick. Living room furniture was not very comfortable. Awkward to walk around the dining room table when someone else is in the kitchen. The second bedrooms had no dresser dressers. Kitchen could use a few more supplies such as dishwasher tabs, garbage bags, spatula. The fan in the master bedroom squeaks. Curtains are just sheer in the master bedroom. Guest bath would be better served with a vanity top for toiletries.

Top notch

We mainly rented this Lakehouse to go fishing and visit with family. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and the guys caught some fish. The house is equipped with everything you need to cook. We had S’mores by the campfire and steaks on the grill. We will definitely stay here again. See you when the crappie are biting!!!
