It was a fairly good room for the price. We had a great view of the mountains and fields from the window. It would have been good to have some soap in bathroom and a tea towel for the dishes.
Overall it was ok. The accommodation met our needs.
The mattresses are old, and could do with replacing them.
Only 2 rolls of toilet paper available.
No sugar in the sugar bowl.
Night light by the door outside not working so had to use torch on phone to get door unlockedphone to
When we arrived at the accommodation during check in time, we found that the room was not done. It was a total mess from the previous guest. I rang the customer service but the owner was unable to be contacted as no one picked up the phone. While I was on the phone, I met a cleaner from the next door neighbour who happened to know the owner. I asked her if she could help us find someone to prepare our room, and she said she would do it herself. We then had to leave and come back about an hour later. When we came back, we could see that the cleaning was done in a rush. The bed sheet was not tucked properly, the pillow cover was all wrinkled and the blankets were quite smelly. Looking at the condition of the accommodation, we were quite worried about the hygiene of the place, we ended up cleaning the place (kitchen, bathroom etc)
ourselves that evening.
When we got back to Melbourne, I contacted the property manager. She asked me to write our complaint on an email which she never replied to. I called half a dozen times and all I got was her excuse to give her more time to investigate the situation. Now after almost two months I still receive no news, no call and no email. Their ignorance in this matter leaves me no choice other than to share my experience here. Obviously the owner was very negligent and not aware about our booking. This had wasted our time, caused a very inconvenient holiday and put our health at risk.

The room was filthy, built up dust from what seemed like months of accumulation, dirty bathroom, spider webs everywhere, could not contact the host. There’s nothing good about this room, absolutely horrible, we feel like we were completely robbed, never again.
Stayed for a couple nights while up for the snow, the room was just what we needed. Loved the big window looking out to the creek and the hills. Checking in was easy as there is no formal, in-person check in, you just receive a code for the room.
Pub next door was great for dinner, but make sure you book!
No drying room is a bugger, but no biggy. The fridge(s) didn't work, but this wasn't an issue for us and the host was onto getting it sorted after we left.

I liked that the property was away from road noise.
Over looking the river and the excess to facilities.
It was nice and quiet.
