The host was very responsive and helped us with all of our needs. We were not able to swim from the property but the marina near by was great for our jet skis. The house was great for our large family on our brief getaway.

Beautiful location
The place was beautiful with lots of space for our entire group. The manager was responsive and accommodating to requests.
This place is on the lake and beautiful, excellent for a big group…they have 4 single person kayaks with life jackets so was perfect for our group! One room / Bathroom is separate - kind of out house…the other 2 Bathroom are separate and not attached to the rooms. But was ok…getting ready was fast this way! Fire pit was excellent with all furnitures etc. The rooms are fitted with window A/C…but was ok. Kitchen was perfectly loaded! Owners and care takers are nearby and are nice. Overall was an excellent stay!
Very impressed with the house, location, and supplies.

Great Location! Beautiful views...The house was the perfect size for 6 of us, plenty oof room.We ate all our dinner/breakfasts on the outdoor open porch with great water views!Unfortunately due to drought conditions we were not able to kayak right from abutting dock.We drove 3 miles away to Kil Kare State park for Kayaking which was great. The house lacked a few necessities such as a working coffee maker and a grill, but we improvised and managed to work through the inconveniences. We enjoyed our stay there…..
House was perfect. Great view, everything was just as listed. Owner was readily available and very nice. Great house for a large group. Zero complaints.
The house was perfect for our family, several adults and children. The views were beautiful and my son in law enjoyed fishing right off the backyard. The host was very responsive to any questions I had.
We had a great time ice fishing was slow but we still enjoyed our stay. Had a small problem with the heat and the owner came over right away super helpful and friendly would definitely recommend.
This property is great. Spacious and lives up to the sleeping capacity as listed. Clean, well appointed and comfortable furniture and beds. Great rear decks over looking the bay and marina.

The house is clean and have many bedrooms. The views outside of the deck is just an amazing. That is the part we love the most. Thank you for the beautiful place and the well preparation.
This home was such a great place to stay! It was so clean and well stocked. Such a relaxing time! And great communication with the property manager. He found that we left some items and contacted us right away, offering to send them to us.
We had a fantastic weekend stay in this amazing home on Lake Champlain to celebrate my daughter’s college graduation. With 11 of us in the group, the space was more than comfortable — plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. Even with some rainy weather, the breathtaking views more than made up for it. We especially loved having access to four kayaks and a wide variety of unique and fun games that kept everyone entertained. The location is perfect — close to restaurants, grocery stores, and everything else we needed. A big thank you to the property manager, who was incredibly responsive and helpful, especially when we needed assistance with the AC (our error, not the property) We couldn’t have asked for a better spot to make such special memories. Highly recommend!
The property was as advertised, and we enjoyed our family vacation. We did not realize the marina is directly behind the house. Fun to watch people take out their boats but little privacy. Having swam in Lake Champlain in the past, we assumed we could swim right by the house. The water there is full of weeds, algae and floating dead fish. The listing did not say that the water was clear, it was just our assumption, so I can’t give a bad review. The last day we discovered Kill Kare state park only about 15 minutes away, where you can kayak, paddleboard and swim in crystal clear water. So pack up and go there for the day! There was some mold and many spiders, but I guess that is to be expected at a lake house. Overall if you are looking for a place for a large group, this works
What a fabulous area and location! We had a wonderful time at this home right on the lake with beautiful views. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of room for our whole crew. We spent most of our time relaxing on the porches enjoying the view and breeze. There is a park.2 miles down the road which was fun to walk to as well. This is a fabulous home and we would highly recommend it! Only thing to be aware of is that the three upstairs bedrooms share one bathroom but this wasn’t a problem for us- we just had people share the downstairs bathroom when showing. The master may not have is own bathroom, but it does have the access to the upstairs deck with basically views which was lovely. There is a marina almost next door you can rent pontoons from also. All around great home!
Receiving information was a nightmare. The evolve team sent me information for the wrong area. My guest contact was impossible to get in contact with. The dining room chairs were damaged and wiggly on arrival and one of them completely broke while we were eating dinner and she got a fat lip. We are lucky she didn’t chip a tooth. The home was booked for 11 women and there was only 1 extra roll of TP so we had to go and purchase our own. The cheap hand soap used in the place was never replaced and just diluted with water. We payed over 3k for a lake house the least you could do is replace the soap. The linins were clean but all stained. The outlets were falling out of the wall. The rug corner was rolling and a tripping hazard. The master closet wouldn’t shut without kicking the trim piece back into the wall. And last but most importantly. We payed for a place we are not local too, to swim at the lake, and when we got there we couldn’t swim because of a blue green algae bloom in the area. We would have just changed the dates to a time we could swim! We payed to swim on a lake front property. Not look at it. Overall we are terribly disappointed with our stay. And we are hoping a human takes the time to go to the property and properly fix a few things.

Response from VrboOwner on 25 Aug 2025
On behalf of Evolve, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and are glad we could assist following the miscommunication. We have followed up with the owner, and they would like to share the following: -Thank you for your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and we appreciate the chance to clarify a few points.-The homeowner lives next door and is always available to help with any concerns, but unfortunately we did not receive a call during your stay. We would have been happy to bring over additional supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, or anything else you needed.-The dining room chairs and rug corner have since been repaired, as well as the closet door. Hand soap provided was not diluted, though we do apologize if it felt that way. Our linens are always laundered, and while clean, we’ve now replaced items that appeared stained. The outlets you mentioned are also being checked.-Regarding swimming, the listing states that swimming is not available at the shoreline of the home itself, though there are public swimming areas nearby. Unfortunately, the blue-green algae bloom was an unexpected natural occurrence across the lake that impacted all waterfront homes.
This home was perfect for what we needed. Was very spacious for my family, had all necessary amenities including mini shower soaps, and even had a highchair for my 1-year-old! The ramp to the front door was a huge plus! Made it easy to carry our bags and groceries in and out and helped those who aren't as stable on their feet in the snow. We loved waking up to the beautiful view of the lake. I only have a few minor things that could be improved. Some of the furniture (dining chairs) were in bad shape and not sturdy enough to sit on. There were floor dividers between the rooms downstairs that were raised, I can't even tell you how many times we all tripped on them or stubbed our toes. My 3-year-old included. Only my 1-year-old I guess was smart enough to witness the rest of us shouting as we stumbled forward, and she started stopping at every divider to carefully step over it. We should have followed her lead. Some cutleries could also be updated such as the cutting knives, but we made do. All in all, we had the most wonderful time as a family together. We were able to build a snowman for my girls and make snow angels and visit with my grandmother who lives in an assisted living facility nearby. We would definitely stay here again!
